Hello. I'm Sanjay Mehrotra, President and CEO of Micron, one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers, and a global leader in memory and storage technologies.
On behalf of Micron and our 37,000 team members, I want to extend my concern and best wishes to the people of China, and particularly Wuhan as you battle this virus. Everyone has pulled together as part of this fight. I've been impressed by your collective strength and solidarity during this difficult time.
Micron has design engineering teams, labs, and sales support centers across Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing, and a thriving and large memory assembly facility in Xi'an.
We are committed to the health and safety of our team around the world, and have implemented prevention and control measures at many of our sites across Asia. With these precautions and through the heroic dedication of our team, we have maintained normal operations, despite the severity of the virus.
To aid in the fight, the Micron Foundation has donated 1 million RMB to Give2Asia.
Give2Asia partners with China's leading non-profit organizations to provide medicine, food, housing, and psychological support to frontline health workers and hospitals.
Micron's individual team members have fundraised an additional 300,000 RMB for this cause through our ongoing matching-gifts campaign. And our Xi'an site is donating medical supplies to help local health organizations and communities.
Micron is committed to providing long-term support to our team members, customers, and partners in China who are very important to us.
