此詩對於失去愛人的痛表現的淋漓盡致，儘管從始至終都沒有提到sad，sorrow之類的詞，但是聽眾也會深深沉寂在這份悲痛之中，閒來誦讀此詩，每每感到淡淡的憂傷，但是這種憂思又是溫暖的，令人回味的。
詩歌是世界上最美的語言，精練的文字，飽滿的情感，詩歌適合反覆吟誦，英文詩歌也是如此，簡單的詞語，但是描述出一副很完整的畫面，人物，場景，任你想想，這便是詩歌的魅力。
