四名決賽者，中韓各兩人。出發後，楊揚搶到領先，王濛緊隨。還剩５圈時，王濛超越楊揚，倆人繼續領先。但最後兩圈，韓國選手發力衝刺，陳善有在最後一個彎道超越王濛，並率先撞線。
There are four finalists, two from China and two from South Korea. After the start, Yang took the lead, followed by Wang Meng. With five laps to go, Wang overtook Yang and the two continued to lead. But in the last two laps, South Korea sprinted, and Sun-yu Jin overtook Wang Meng on the last curve and hit the finish line first .

In her sports career, Yang Yang has won 34 world championships, ranking first among the world's female short track speed skaters, including China's first-ever gold medal in Winter Olympics in 2002. After leaving the rink, Yang Yang continued to perform brilliantly. In 2010, she became the first Chinese retired athlete to serve as a member of the International Olympic Committee.
