從最後一次國宴，到最後一次檢閱軍隊，再到最後一次公開演講，近來關於歐巴馬的新聞似乎都飄著淡淡的憂桑……
據路邊兒社報導，歐巴馬最近十分悠閒，主要工作不再是政務，而是花樣炫（nüè）妻（gǒu）：
咳咳，言歸正傳，歐巴馬還是幹了點正事兒~（誰說誇老婆不是正經事兒的？拉出去跪著……）
當地時間1月17日，歐巴馬舉行了任期內最後一場記者會~大家其實都明白，這次記者會主要就是告別，順帶，再給川普提個醒~
按照「慣例」歐巴馬依舊以自己最正常的身份——段子手來了開場白：
我本來打算在最後一次發布會上穿個棕色西裝，但是米歇爾，她對於時尚的感覺還是比我好一些，告訴我一月份不適合穿棕色西裝。

至於政治方面，歐巴馬也挑明了，他會堅持捍衛美國的核心價值觀（core values）。比如政策可以有所反覆（back-and-forth），但是有些事情如果發生，歐巴馬還是不會坐視不管的~比如系統性歧視（ systematic discrimination）、阻止選民投票、行使權力等等。
當然，面對繼任者川普，歐巴馬也有一肚子話要說~
巴馬在談及對當選總統川普的執政建議時強調了幕僚和團隊的重要性，包括內閣成員和白宮高級顧問。「我給予最好的忠告是――這是一份你無法獨立完成的龐大工作，你需要極大地依賴團隊。」
This is a job of such magnitude that you can’t do it by yourself. You are enormously reliant on a team. Your Cabinet, your senior White House staff, all the way to fairly junior folks in their 20s and 30s but who are executing on significant responsibilities. And so, how you put a team together to make sure that they’re getting you the best information and they are teeing up the options from which you will ultimately make decisions.

其實在就職典禮這幾天，川普也是很忙的~畢竟，這項傳統已經有200多年的歷史了，特立獨行的川普這回也得按部就班一把。
當地時間1月19日下午，川普和彭斯來到阿靈頓國家公墓，向無名英雄墓敬獻花圈（laying a wreath）。隨後，軍樂隊在林肯紀念堂倒影池西南處的舞臺上進行演奏。演奏結束後，總統與副總統在林肯紀念堂舉辦的「讓美國再次偉大」音樂會上發表講話。
President-elect Donald Trump made a stop at Arlington National Cemetery as he continues his countdown to inauguration. Trump was joined in a ceremony at the cemetery by Vice President-elect Mike Pence. The pair silently placed a wreath in front of the Tomb of the Unknowns—a monument dedicated to service members whose remains were never identified. After placing the wreath, the two men put their hands on their hearts as solemn music played. Trump’s family, including his wife, Melania, and adult children and grandchildren were also present.

進入20日，一大早川普、彭斯及他們的家人會先來到白宮附近的聖約翰聖公會大教堂進行禱告。
The president-elect and his family will attend a religious service at St. John’s Episcopal Church, just a short walk from Blair House.
宣誓之前，現任總統歐巴馬將同川普在白宮會面喝茶或喝咖啡，隨後兩人將偕同夫人乘坐一輛車前往國會大廈。
The incoming and departing presidents will meet at the White House with their wives. As is customary, Mr. Trump and Mr. Obama will then ride together down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol.

之後就是最重要的就職典禮了，彭斯首先會宣誓成為美國第48任副總統，儀式由聯邦最高法院法官克拉倫斯·託馬斯主持。隨後，摩門大教堂合唱團將表演，這也是該合唱團第六次在總統就職典禮或閱兵遊行中進行表演。
隨後，川普將進行總統宣誓，宣誓儀式由首席大法官約翰·羅伯茨主持。
據說，川普將把手放在兩本聖經上（腦補你們看過的好萊塢大片），然後他的誓詞是這樣滴：
「I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.」

忙乎了一個早上，終於到了可以吃東西的時刻~對，這也是傳統！新任總統和副總統都會在就職典禮後參加由JCCIC（就職儀式國會聯合委員會）主辦的國會午餐會。從1897年就開始了，只不過自艾森豪總統（1953年）之後，才有了現在的形式。
The tradition of a president enjoying an inaugural luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) dates back to 1897, but did not begin in its current form until 1953. That year, President Dwight D. Eisenhower and 50 guests dined on creamed chicken, baked ham, and potato puffs in the now-restored Old Senate Chamber.

Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence will lead the parade from the Capitol down Pennsylvania Avenue, with thousands of military personnel representing each branch. Once he has arrived at the White House, Mr. Trump will watch the rest of the parade from a reviewing stand there.
