Recently, the phase-II senior seminar for teaching skill improvement of primary school Chinese teachers in Yongning District, Nanning was held in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. 100 primary school Chinese teachers from the countryside of the district conducted learning based on different thematic teaching sections such as composition, character-writing and unit teaching through lectures, research and study, and case studies.
It’s understood that in order to build first-class teacher teams and promote equitable development in compulsory education, 5.12 million yuan has been allocated to send teachers to participate in training programs at national, autonomous-region and municipal levels. Since this year, over 18,400 teachers have finished training. For overcoming weaknesses in Chinese language teaching, math teaching and class teacher work in high schools and primary schools, 880 teachers divided in ten classes have been sent to Nanjing, Nantong and Suzhou respectively for special training.
