有關第13課的導入
(1)導語。上次我們一起度過了中秋節。今天我們去農場看一看。此時教師讓學生先閉上眼睛。教師播放事先準備好的錄音播放,如鳥叫,羊叫等聲音。同時出示放大圖片選自課本16頁圖1,製造出一種身臨其境的氛圍。
(2)圖畫內容簡介。教師可以就圖片內容進行提問:What is this? It is a picture of a farm. What is on the farm? There are some dogs, some cows, hills, and some trees and so on 。此時,利用圖片講解部分新單詞。
(3)組織學生學習對話。教師也可以播放媒體動畫,製造情景。內容詳見本單元媒體素材中的動畫。
口語訓練建議
(1)本單元的口語訓練應側重於運用形容詞和副詞的比較級的相關句型介紹比較中美農場的異同和農村與城市的差異,教師組織學生就兩個主題進行討論,在討論之前要求學生先要熟練掌握課文內容,否則學生說不出,將起不到預期的效果。
(2)教師也可以讓學生將第14課的課文改編成一個對話,然後再練習。
例如:
Jone: Where do you live?
Ji Wei :I live on a farm. What about you?
JOne: I live on a farm too. What is your farm like?
Ji wei: The farm isn’t big. My parents grow rice and wheat. The sky is blue and the hill is green. Jone: Do you like it?
Ji Wei: Certainly. Can you tell me something about your farm?
Jone: On my farm, there is a lake. I always go fishing there in the summer and skating there in the winter. We always grow corn and wheat. Which do you like better, the country or the city?
Ji wei: I think the country is more beautiful than the city. In the city, I can’t hear the animals. In the country I can hear birds sing and sheep bleating.
Jone: I agree with you.
語音教學建議
oo組合在單詞中的發音規律不明顯,建議教師自己總結規律如:
A good cook looks book. 一個好廚師看書。這些詞中的 oo組合都發短元音/u /的音,便於學生記憶。
詞彙教學
人教社教學用書p35-36的詞彙教學dingbat可以與該單元語法重點(比較級與最高級)相結合進行。如:
1)A dingbat is something that is more beautiful than all the paper flowers and dry flowers.(It is the real/ fresh flower.
2)A dingbat is something that goes fatster than the bike and the truck,but it is something that goes more slowly than the plane.(It is the car)
3)You like fresh and clean air, so a dingbat is something that you like better than the city.(It is the country)
4)A dingbat is something that is good at keeping the home, you like it better than the cat or the chicken.(It is the dog)
