看到標題，編輯也想這或許是一個會令所有玩家都失望的消息。早在前幾天，有玩家透露了任天堂官方雜誌《Nintendo Power》最新一期介紹了《黃金太陽DS》（Golden Sun DS）的情報，並指出雜誌公開這款舉世矚目的RPG遊戲可能會在2010年2月在北美市場發售。但據真正購買了這本雜誌的玩家透露並且闢謠表示：《Nintendo Power》並沒有公布任何與發售日期相關的情報。

"Fans of the Game Boy Advance Golden Sun series have been clamoring for a sequel since 2003's Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Nintendo and Camelot answered that call in a grand fashion during last year's E3, showing off a playable Nintendo DS demo packed with 3-D environments and flashy summon spells. Little is known about the game's story, mechanics, or even its title, but all should be revealed in the months to come, as Nintendo has affirmed that Golden Sun DS is on track for a 2010 release" -Casey L.
譯：GBA《黃金太陽》系列的FANS們自2003年《黃金太陽：失落的時代》（註：日版發售日期為2002年6月28日，美版為2003年4月14日）以來就非常熱烈地期待著續作的公布。Nintendo和Camelot在去年E3會展中終於給玩家們一個答覆，他們在E3上展出了《黃金太陽DS》可玩的DEMO，這次DEMO演示了該遊戲的3D環境、召喚、魔法場景。但目前對於該遊戲的故事、銜接點背景甚至是標題都沒有更多的情報。不過我們依舊可以期待這款遊戲在未來數月內就可以和我們見面。任天堂也承諾《黃金太陽DS》會在2010年發售。

任天堂和其原子公司Camelot在GBA時代開發的《黃金太陽》系列RPG遊戲非常受玩家們的喜愛，Camelot在GBA《馬裡奧網球Advance》之後就脫離了任天堂子公司的關係，曾令當年的玩家一度認為《黃金太陽》系列將不可能開發續作遊戲，但2009年E3展上展出的《黃金太陽DS》令無數人為之一震。
現階段任天堂與Camelot雙方均沒有對這款遊戲透露更多的情報，或許還在銳意製作或許已經在準備發售工作等，目前還沒有任何情報及消息，還需要請各位玩家靜候等待。
