宅在家的日子，可能很多人都是睡衣不離身，每天穿著睡衣「闖天下」，但你知道睡衣的英文怎麼說嗎？
是sleeping clothes嗎？NO！
睡衣有以下幾種說法：
1、sleepwear/nightwear
這是商店常用的一個詞彙，a word used by shops / stores for clothes that are worn in bed.sleep是睡覺的意思，wear是穿的意思，那麼用來穿著睡覺的當然就是睡衣啦。男士睡衣就可以說是sleepwear for men，同理，女士睡衣就是sleepwear for women。
2、pyjamas
很多朋友喜歡穿一套的睡衣，那麼成套的睡衣用英語又怎麼說呢？我們可以用pyjamas 或 pajamas /p'dɑmz/，pyjama 、pajama 是分別是它們的單數形式，不過在使用過程中，經常是以複數的形式出現，一套睡衣則是a pair of pyjamas。一套睡衣的上衣可以說成a pyjama top，睡褲則是pyjama bottoms。
例句：
I wrote this article in my pajamas.This wouldn’t have happened if I were in the company.我穿著睡衣寫的這篇文章。要是在公司，這是不可能發生的。
3、nightgown /natɡan/
gown /ɡan/ 這個單詞，可以指特別場合穿的禮服，也可以指（法官、英國律師、大學學生在特別儀式上穿的）長袍，長外衣，還有一種意思是（尤指在醫院穿的）罩衣，外罩。前面加上一個 night ，晚上穿的長袍、長外衣，也就是睡袍。
例句：
She wore a nightgown, and her silvery hair streamed free over her shoulders .她穿著睡袍，銀白色的頭髮披散在肩上。
4、nightclothes
clothes that you wear in bed，這個大家也很好理解~晚上穿的衣服，睡衣。
5、nightdress睡裙
例句：
She looked tall in her long white nightdress, her long dark hair hanging down her back to her waist .她穿著白色的長睡衣，長長的黑髮垂到腰際，顯得很高。
