(1) Easier said than done
這句話無需多解釋，就是你認為的：說起來容易做起來難。
例句：
I agree with you, but that's easier said than done.
我同意你的看法，但是說起來容易，做起來難。
(2) Better late than never
這句話也很好理解，意為：遲做總比不做好。
例句：
It is two decades too late, but better late than never.
這已經晚了20年，但遲做總比不做好。
(3) Stronger than pig shit
這個俚語千萬不要看成比豬糞還強壯，而是表示：非常健壯的，用作形容詞。
例句：
He has a genius …stronger than pig shit.
他有天賦……健壯如牛。
(4) See no further than the end of one’s nose
這個俚語直譯是「看不到比鼻子更遠的地方」，延伸義為：目光短淺、胸襟狹窄、缺乏理智和覺悟，用做動詞。
例句：
She is so selfish she can see no further than the end of her nose.她是那麼自私，胸襟狹窄。
