十二生肖 - 源自於華人文化圈中的傳統民間故事,由十二種動物依照天幹地支所組成的時節序列。以農曆新年作新一年象徵動物生肖,循環一次為一輪。2020年之代表生肖為〝子鼠〞。華人文化中,新年代表著全新的開始,同時也是個將生活中的喜悅、未來展望與親朋好友分享的時節,人們攜帶簡單但富有心意的禮品互相拜訪餽贈,祝賀對方在新的一年中有一個美好的開始。2020年的新年,我們以今年生肖-鼠在漢文化中所代表的涵義:豐收、多產作為主題,結合了中國新年送禮的習俗;通過設計推出了自己的新年禮盒-銀花玉鼠盒。此包裝中分為禮盒與年節賀卡:包裝視覺以中國新年的氛圍中小鼠遊玩嬉戲為主視覺,並以豐富的動植物圖騰鋪陳傳遞豐收之感,傳達著對新年的期許。藍與橘是此設計的主體色彩,意味著世界組成的原點-青天與紅土;在賀卡與包裝的外型上採取六角形的切割構成,因為六在漢文化中象徵著智慧與順利,再次傳遞著新年文化中的原意-分享喜悅.期許未來。

Our client, Ding Li Feng - From the production to the sales, we conducted a series of the brand image of the packaging design.
We plan and developed a concept of an unconventional Chinese gift box, introducing a trendy and recognizable packaging design to target the Western and Young Asian markets.
The visual of the packaging design is based on the simplified analysis of plant elements to emphasizing the nature and the value of the ingredients by making the product. To enhance the visual, we used contrast color to bring out the vision between packaging and gift/collections. As a decorative, we also use gold stamping to bring out the 3D vision as well as a highlight of the gift box. We aim to distribute the unique but artistic packaging design.

配合燙金打凸的加工凸顯禮盒高貴,將視覺散發出現代美感,讓藝術更貼近人心,提升送禮者品味的同時,收禮者收到的不只是禮物,更是收藏品。

我們將品牌形象設計包裝,將設計定位在「純粹」。
提出了一個簡單的概念,即通過設計推出品牌形象並捕捉年輕市場。透過包裝腰帶燙印呈現質感,點亮整個視覺,產品背後的將純粹、簡單的重要性放大。白色與藍色為主要顏色,呈現單純清新的質感。
傳達人們現在追求現代簡單的意象。

作為精加工細節,我們決定全程使用燙印在包裝上。

The brand image and position the design in 「pure」.
A simple concept was proposed to introduce a brand image through design and capture the young market. The texture is printed through the belt and the whole vision is illuminated, and the importance behind the product is pure and simple. White and blue are the main colors, giving a pure and fresh texture.

To achieve our goal, we decide to use the Original Arjowiggins UK series type of paper. For the finishing details, we decided to using Hot Stamping. A package that allows customers to feel exquisite and textured when they receive it.

花生在食物製作上有著特殊的地位,在聊天消遣之餘作為家家戶戶的零嘴小吃。
卻因為現今社會零嘴選擇多樣化,導致年輕人已漸少吃花生。
我們的客戶 - 花生工廠製作的接班人想創立自有品牌,希望將品牌形象定位在年輕市場,
於是我們提出了一個簡單的概念「吃花生也能吃得很潮流」,推出較現代的品牌形象並捕捉年輕市場。
有別於市面上傳統花生包裝,我們透過文字的編排與顏色的選用呈現不同口味與現代的視覺觀感,
將傳統產品的價值更加凸顯。
花生是普遍性高的產品,我們相信設計能讓產品的價值提升。傳達年輕人追求潮流元素的意象。
為實現這目標,我們選用瓶罐並運用貼紙的設計,加工細節,我們決定使用雷射燙印在包裝上增加特殊性。
為了每個產品別都有它的特殊性,因此每款口味的顏色都不同,用於區分產品的不同並讓消費者快速識別產品。
Peanut plays a special role in food production, it’s a common snack for every family. However, due to the diversity of snack choices, people start to reduce eating peanut especially teenagers.
Our Client - is a successor of a peanut factory in Taiwan. He wants to create its branding to target the youngest market. So we proposed a simple concept which is: 「Eating peanuts can also be trendy」. We will be launching a modern brand image to attack more young adults.To differentiate from the traditional peanut packaging on the market, we present a modern visual perception through typography and various selection of colors to highlight the value of the products.
Peanut is a product with high universality so we believe that design can enhance the values of the products to convey the image of the young adult's pursuit of trend elements. To achieve our goals, we choose bottles and cans with sticker design and used laser hot stamping on the packaging to make it particularity and bring out the details. To make each product has its particularity, different flavor come with a different color in term to differentiate the products and increase the identity of the products to reach consumers.

Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional festival in Chinese culture, and it has a place in people's hearts. At the same time, the Mid-Autumn Festival is also a reunion day. People will come back with cake as a souvenir to their homes to eat, reunite, and visit relatives and friends. They also eat certain foods related to the moon and reunion. These foods are also used for worship. For example, Chinese (Han), Vietnamese (Jing), and Ryukyu people all have the custom of eating moon cakes.
With such a demand, competition between packaging and publicity among the major cake shops is intense. Over the years now, we have seen many packaging designs emerging one after another. Each brand tries to reach a different type of design to increase sales.
One of our customers - Taiwan's engaged by making pastry and sales that require a packaging design that is "unique" for its products. We propose a non-traditional Chinese concept that is designed to launch its own packaging design and to enhance the Chinese market as well as the young market.
The packaging vision is drawn by the elemental analysis of the solar system, which constitutes a simple and powerful message that constitutes the importance of 「the gift from the distant universe」 as 「precious」 behind the product. Gold and platinum are the main colors of the package, to bring out the vision of exudes modern, artistic and humorous images.
We aim to position the package between quality and collectibles. To achieve the goal, we decide to used metal-like paper under Arjowiggings' and Alchemy collection. As a finishing detail, we decided to use hot stamping to add layers to certain areas of the box. For each product, it has its particularity, so different boxes have different colors of paper to distinguish the difference between the products so the design of the product can be delivered and quickly identify.

過年,是中華文化的傳統習俗,家家戶戶都喜愛的節慶。
今年是豬年,以諧音諸事大吉為創意發想,將圖像用幾何造型的方式呈現豬與桔的視覺概念,挑選喜氣的色紙帶出過年熱鬧的氣氛,並搭配金、銀後加工燙印。

Chinese New Year is a traditional festival on Chinese yearly cultural celebration.
The year 2019 is presenting the icon of pig, which is the icon from chinese zodiac. I used harmony to represent everything as it in geometric shape to symbolist pigs and the colors of orange & red to represent happy and prosperity of the New Year.
Additional, gold, silver stamping and embossing that we used are bringing up aesthetic and the feeling of touch from the card.

來自臺東的大百吉商號以自產自銷的米為產品,強調與自然共生的意象,帶給消費者愛護大自然的品牌形象。
而臺東最讓人印象深刻的就是自然風景,設計概念:運用幾何圖形簡化風景春夏秋冬並融入廠商的核心價值:自然共存加入動物,呈現出生態多元的意象。
產品包裝上,採用腰封設計,裸露產品內容物,並衍伸出禮盒設計:考量重量採用硬白卡四色印刷,結合提繩,不但能承受重量也徹底減少廠商提袋成本。考量到廠商的銷售通路:在各大農特產展覽之中脫穎而出,擺脫了大包米的既定印象,將米精緻化,將臺東特產讓更多人看見。

From Taitung uses self-produced rice as its product, emphasizing the image of symbiosis with nature and bringing consumers a brand image that cares for nature.
The most impressive thing about Taitung is the natural scenery. The design concept: use geometric figures to simplify the landscape, spring, summer, autumn and winter and integrate into the core value of the manufacturer: natural coexistence joins the animal, showing the image of ecological diversity.

Sunrise chicken, hand made on the first day.
The mission of not dripping chicken essence is to bring warm happiness to everyone.
With the traditional hand-made chicken essence, the mother-in-law starts to prepare with the heart every sunrise, and the long-term high-temperature slow-drop system makes the nutrient essence completely released.
Natural without a drop of water, without any seasonings.
Start with a bowl of hot and warm drops of chicken at the beginning of the day, so that you are full of energy.
In the overall visual sense of the design of the sunrise, the color tone emphasizes the warmth of the morning sun, expresses the warmth of the gift, and allows the recipient to feel the texture of the packaging design, which conveys the product in design. The core value adds a new page to the traditional drop chicken.

手工皂是使用天然油脂與鹼液,用人工製作而成的肥皂。基本上是油脂和鹼液起皂化反應的結果,經固化、熟成程序後可用來洗滌、清潔。

Hand Soap is a soap made by hand, which uses natural oil and lye. Basically is the result of the saponification reaction between grease and alkaline solution that can be used for washing/cleaning after curing and ripening.
Our Client- Who based in Taiwan, is engaged in the production of soap and in an attempt to repackage their brand image as well as their product packaging with the design direction - 「Pure」.
We had proposed a simple concept which is to launch and target the youngest market. Throughout the holes that designed on the packaging Is to differentiate the different colors of the soap and to capture the best visual from the whole vision as in to bring out the importance of purity and simplicity behind the soap.
White color is the main color of the whole packaging design because we believe that it’s the best way to present the value of the product, which is purity and simplicity. To achieve our goal, we decide to use the Original Arjowiggins UK series type of paper. For the finishing details, we decided to add some layers to certain areas of the box by using Hot Stamping. To have its particularity, we make the box with holes to present the color of each product as well as to allow the quick identification of the consumer.

棋盤格子餅乾是一種簡單容易製作的手工餅乾,將2種不同口味的餅乾麵糰做一點變化,簡單的餅乾就變的有趣,
麵糰切條再組合起來,可以依照自己喜歡做成大小不同的格子排列。
在整體視覺呈現簡約方格的視覺,色調中選取出棋盤格餅的相近色調,以精品精裝硬盒的概念做發想,表達出濃厚的心意,讓收禮者能感受到有著精緻質感卻不失大方的包裝設計,為此手工點心增添了不同的風格特色。
包裝設計加工上採用霧面金箔燙金的技術表現出棋盤狀的視覺表現,為了讓人能有觸覺的感受,提升整體完美的質感,在紙質上選用美術紙並用精裝盒的黏盒工法,配合緞帶拉繩來營造出精緻的美感。

Checkerboard Cookie is a simple handmade cookies made with 2 different flavoured cookie dough. The dough is cut into strips arranged in a grid of any size. This inspire fun and creativity into the process of baking. The overall visual is presented in grids and the colour of packaging is inspired by the tone of the actual cookies. The use of solid material for the packaging is to express sincerity and thoughtfulness; topped off with delicate texture to soften the overall roughness. The idea is to manifest the feeling of generosity when recipient make contact with the packaging. Therefore, the gift is able to portray unique characteristics and personalities. The exterior adopts matt surface gold foil hot stamping to further emphasise on the visual presentation of the checker box concept. Fine art paper is utilised in this packaging design in order to allow the tactile feeling to improve the overall impression of the product. The aesthetic impression is also supported by the gold ribbon added on the packaging. In order to let people have a tactile feeling and improve the overall perfect texture, fine art paper is selected on paper and the sticky box method of hardcover box is used to create a delicate aesthetic feeling with the ribbon pulling rope.

其顏色在中華文化裡常常代表「喜慶」之意。
此視覺以「百花齊放」為主題,用簡單的幾何造型排列,結合元素作設計
在紙材運用上使用桃紅色紙做印刷,並在加工上運用燙印的方式製作,呈現出喜氣洋洋、金光閃閃,百花齊放的感覺。
