Up to now, annual construction of 8 projects has been completed ahead of schedule and the projects have been put into use, further ensuring the safety of drinking water for rural residents.
It is understood that the 15 projects of centralized water supply in rural areas, with a total planned investment of 591 million yuan, will benefit 835,800 people. Among them, 8 projects have a total planned investment of 93,394,300 yuan, covering a population of 179,900. As the 8 projects are put into use, the risks of the relapse of poverty due to the shortage and instability of safe drinking water in some counties and areas can be completely solved, improving the proportion of urban running water covering rural areas and ensuring water quality and water supply.
