12月22日，國務院新聞辦公室發布《中國交通的可持續發展》白皮書。白皮書全面介紹了新時代中國交通發展成就，分享中國交通可持續發展的理念和實踐。China released a white paper on the country's transport development on Dec 22 to provide a full picture of its achievements in the field and share its strategy and activities in building a sustainable transport system. The white paper, titled "Sustainable Development of Transport in China," was released by the State Council Information Office.

【知識點】黨的十八大以來，中國交通深入推進供給側結構性改革，綜合交通網絡規模和質量實現躍升，有力服務和支撐了經濟社會持續快速健康發展。截至2019年年底，全國鐵路營業裡程13.9萬公裡，其中高鐵超過3.5萬公裡，位居世界第一；公路裡程501.3萬公裡，其中高速公路15萬公裡，躍居世界第一；生產性碼頭泊位2.3萬個，其中萬噸級及以上泊位數量2520個，內河航道通航裡程12.7萬公裡，位居世界第一。民用航空頒證運輸機場238個。郵路和快遞服務網絡總長度4085.9萬公裡，實現了鄉鄉設所、村村通郵。當前，新冠肺炎疫情仍在全球蔓延，交通運輸對於全球團結抗疫、恢復經濟增長、增進人類福祉和實現可持續發展十分重要。中國將秉持人類命運共同體理念，落實聯合國《2030年可持續發展議程》，與世界各國一道，更好推進全球互聯互通、民心相通，為建設繁榮美好的世界作出更大貢獻。白皮書主要包括走新時代交通發展之路、從交通大國向交通強國邁進、服務決戰脫貧攻堅和決勝全面小康、推進交通治理現代化、推動構建全球交通命運共同體、中國交通的未來展望6個章節。
