「薇」說：

該話題主要是圍繞天氣展開論述，因此必須知道一些基本的地理常識，比如一些臨海城市如青島、大連等大都多雨。對於「人們通常在雨天做什麼」這個問題，如果考生回答待在家裡(stay at home)，需要進一步說明自己在家做什麼，無論讀書、睡覺還是看電視都行，切勿三兩句草草結束回答。下雨的好處有很多，如下雨能使一些乾旱地區(drought areas) 的旱情有所緩解，讓空氣變得溼潤、清新等。


Q1:Do you like rainy days? [Why/Why not?]

I am not fond of rainy days since they are quite troublesome for me. For instance, when I am walking on the road, a car could splash water on me, which will make me feel cold. Additionally,if I am unprepared for the rain, I will get soaked in the rain.

Q2:What are the influences of rain on people』s daily life? [Why?]

On the one hand, rain brings some benefits to people’s daily life. For example, it cleanses the streets and the air, so the environment becomes more beautiful and people can enjoy fresher air. On the other hand, rain brings some troubles to people, especially to city residents. To be more specific, there are always heavy traffic congestions on rainy days, which is quite annoying to people who have to go to work or school.

Q3:What are the benefits of rain? [Why?]

Rain has various benefits such as watering the plants, trees and flowers in a region. It also cleans the roads of any dirt or dust, not to mention cleanses the air from pollution. Rain also makes people feel peaceful as they can listen to the raindrops outside, feeling at peace with themselves.

Q4:Which part of China rains the most/least?[Why?]

The southeastern part of China rains the most since it is located near to the tropics and the seaside. As for the parts of China that rain the least, the northern regions are covered in deserts. These areas don’t receive a lot of precipitation and tend to be dry all-year-round.
