鴻恩閣位於鴻恩寺森林公園的最高處，是重慶主城最高的觀景臺。白日，它如同所有的古樓一般深沉而厚重，一到夜幕降臨，燈光點燃每一扇窗，每一片瓦，每一橫欄杆，夜下，它搖身一變成為華美而不失古色的樓閣。
Hong En Pavilion is located at the highest part of Hong En Temple Forest Park and is the highest observation platform in Chongqing's main city. Day, it is as deep and heavy as all the ancient buildings. Once night falls, the lights ignite every window, every tile, every railing, and at night, it turns into a gorgeous and ancient pavilion.
鴻恩閣自下而上共七層，大門牌匾高掛，層層精雕細琢，青瓦為簷，紅木為柱，上下渾然一體，等暖色燈光自廊中向外發散，整個閣樓在夜色中綻放光芒，如同真佛降臨。

難得的是，夜晚的鴻恩閣遠看是華美，近看依然絲毫不失精緻，簷下迴廊上有精美的雕花帶著古味盎然的配色，燈光映上去仿佛雕花自己也變成了光，溫暖卻不刺眼，精緻也不繁雜。
