剪紙作品展促進傳統文化傳承與創新
Exhibition on paper-cuts held to boost traditional culture
2021年元旦之際，無錫科技職業學院策劃舉辦了一場剪紙作品展。多年來，以非遺剪紙為載體，學院採取課程教學、社會服務等多種方式，促進傳統非遺文化的傳承與創新。
A paper-cuts exhibition was held at the Wuxi Vocational College of Science and Technology in WND during the New Year holiday. The college adopts various ways including teaching courses and social service for its students to bolster inheritance and innovation of traditional culture.

高新區入選江蘇首批服務貿易基地
WND included as service trade demonstration base in Jiangsu
作為無錫市重要的經濟增長極，高新區勇當創新發展「主力軍」：近日，江蘇省商務廳下發通知，無錫國家高新技術產業開發區獲批江蘇省首批服務貿易基地，是無錫市此次參評唯一入圍的服務貿易示範區，位列數字服務領域5家省級服貿基地榜首。同時，8家高新區的企業獲批省級服務貿易重點企業，總數位居全市第一，佔到全市入圍企業的四成以上。
WND continues to help power Wuxi’s economic growth: It’s the only place in the city to be included on a list of service trade demonstration bases in Jiangsu province; the only place to rank in the top five provincial bases in the field of digital services, with eight hi-tech firms rated as provincial key firms in the service sector; and it now accounts for more than 40 percent of the city's shortlisted companies.

太湖灣科創城正式啟動
Taihu Bay Science and Technology Innovation City launched in WND
1月4日，無錫高新區太湖灣科創城正式啟動建設。當天揭幕儀式中還發布了《太湖灣科技創新帶無錫高新區（新吳區）發展規劃（2021-2025年）》和《無錫高新區（新吳區）太湖灣科創城高質量發展三年行動計劃（2021-2023年）》。
作為太湖灣科創帶核心示範區，高新區將努力把科創城打造成為太湖灣科創帶上的一顆璀璨明珠。
The Taihu Bay Science and Technology Innovation City in WND was officially launched on Jan 4. A development plan (2021-2025) for WND as well as a three-year high-quality development action plan (2021-2023) for the innovation city were also released during the unveiling ceremony.
WND is a core demonstration area in the Taihu Bay Science and Technology Innovation Belt and will strive to fully realize the city’s innovative potential.
一把二胡演繹全國最美家庭
The Most Beautiful Family in WND
近日，2020年全國最美家庭名單公布，高新區的錢建平家庭喜獲2020年度全國最美家庭殊榮。
錢建平的父親，現年82歲的錢福基老人年輕時就對二胡情有獨鍾。在父親潛移默化的影響下，錢建平也對二胡產生了濃厚興趣。因為對二胡的這份執著與熱愛，錢建平的二胡技藝日漸提高，此後又將二胡技藝傳承給了兒子錢鈞和孫女錢智嫻。錢建平一家不僅用二胡藝術感染身邊的人，義務教授熱愛傳統民樂的人學習二胡，還參加各類活動，登上各種舞臺，大力傳播二胡文化。錢建平一家對傳統音樂的熱愛、對二胡藝術的深深敬意、對美好生活的無限嚮往感染著身邊人，帶動了更多的家庭見賢思齊，為傳播文明新風貢獻了家庭力量。
The list of 2020 Most Beautiful Family in China was recently announced and Qian Jianping’s family in WND was honored with this national award.
Qian’s father, 82, fell in love with the two-stringed bowed instrument erhu when he was young. And his passion for erhu has passed down in the family. Qian’s son and granddaughter are also good at playing erhu. The family plays erhu at home and abroad and they volunteer to teach and spread erhu culture. Their love for erhu, for traditional art sets a good example and inspires us to spread good family values in society.
