About the Destination
Yue Feng Island Organic Farm is located by Fairmont hotel on the shores of Yangcheng Lake and between the cities of Kunshan and Suzhou. In addition to seasonal fresh vegetables, organic fruit trees compliment the landscape with loquats, peach, crab-apple and pears, while greenhouses add strawberries and other fresh ingredients offering to Fairmont Hotel
Yue Feng Organic Farm is also home to twenty-five bee hives that thrive in the natural environment and the ocean of flowers that surround the hotel and park. When the weather is kind, the bees can produce about 40 kilograms of honey a day which is bottled and sold from Essence restaurant.
To truly experience all that Yue Feng Organic Farm has to offer, join our Chef,s for one of their organic cooking demonstrations in our two Glass Houses, one that sits on the edge of the lily pond and the other amongst the rice field. Whether a day trip from Shanghai or an overnight stay you will find organic food is good for your body while the calm beauty of this Kunshan Organic Farm is good for your soul!
Trip Itinerary:
09:30 People meet up and departure from Shanghai
10:00 – 11:30 With bus driving of 1.5 hours, we will arrive at Yuefeng Island Suzhou
11:30 – 12:30 Enjoy your free time and wandering on this beautiful island, have a sightseeing at Yangcheng lake, petting sheep in the farm
12:30 – 13:30 We will enjoy a picnic lunch with sandwiches and juice
13:30 –14:30 Fun Green Rice Ball cooking classes, wrap up the sweet bean paste with dough made by green juice and sticky rice flour, you will have the tasty green rice ball after steaming it with 15 mins. All of the original material and ingredients including wheat straw, sticky rice and red beans are all plant and picked up from the organic farm.
14:30–15:30 Visit apiary and the farmer will show us the bee hives, introducing the basic knowledge of bees and their families, while you will taste the honey while visiting, it’s a fun workshop for both kids and adults.
15:30 -16:30 Then we will have a fun picking up activity at the organic farm, with maximum 2KG seasonal vegetables free of charge, you may bring it back home and cook a delicious organic dish for dinner.
16:30 - 18:00 We will say goodbye to the farmers and back to Shanghai

春暖花開，萬物復甦，帶上寶貝一起出去放風兒了。讓我們前往蘇州陽澄湖畔的悅豐島有機農莊，體驗半日的農場生活，可以一起體驗製作青團，參觀養蜂場，學習蜂蜜的釀造過程，在農田裡採摘新鮮的蔬菜，和農場小動物們親密接觸，在大自然中無拘無束，盡情釋放天性，學習生態知識，度過休閒的一天。
本條路線上海出發車程只要1.5小時，輕鬆舒適，適合家庭親子，適合帶寵物狗，報名時請註明。
【景點介紹】
悅豐島有機農場地址在江蘇省崑山市馬鞍山西路陽澄湖，作為陽澄湖費爾蒙酒店的合作夥伴和食材供應地，分為生態觀光區和有機蔬果種植區，徒步繞農場深度遊約需3小時，悅豐島有機農場於2010年建立，佔地面積約500畝，有機農場種植過程中禁止使用農藥、化肥、植物生長激素，也不種植基改生物，使土地在沒有外加化學品汙染的前提下可永續經營，保留生物多樣性
悅豐島不僅是有機種植農場，也是家庭春遊的理想目的地，這裡有延綿的木棧道，古老的水車，大片的湖水，嬉水的鴨子，別致的水上木屋，河邊盛開著的鮮花，農場提供各種趣味親子活動，製作青團，參觀蜂場，有機藍染手帕，蔬菜採摘等，讓大家在這片世外桃源地體驗回歸大自然的愜意！
【行程安排】

10:00 –11:30 車程1.5小時，抵達【悅豐島有機農莊】
11:30 –12:30 農莊自由活動，田間漫步，餵小羊
12:30 –13:30 午餐，享用三明治
13:30 –14:30 青團製作體驗，我們將青汁和青澄粉混合搓揉上勁後，分團捏殼，包入豆沙餡料，放在墊有箬竹葉的蒸籠上，待水煮開，蒸15分鐘左右，一顆顆油綠如玉、糯韌綿軟的青團就出鍋了。青團中草汁加熱後獨特的芬芳，趁熱食用的味道最佳。製作青團的所有食材漿麥草青汁，糯米粉和紅豆沙，均源自農場，純手工、純天然、無添加。
14:30–15:30 養蜂場探秘活動，大家帶好防護帽後，農場師傅會打開蜂箱介紹蜂巢結構，學習蜜蜂王國裡蜂王、雄蜂、工蜂三種成員的分工結構，現場體驗新鮮蜂蜜，既有趣也能學到生物知識。
15:30 -16:30 接下來是採摘體驗 ，每家可採4斤免費蔬菜，應季蔬菜有萵筍，蒜葉，豌豆苗等等，採摘下來當天可以拿回家烹飪新鮮可口的晚餐
16:30 - 18:00 乘車返回上海，結束愉快的行程
