支持 HDR10、HDR10+ 以及杜比視界 HDR
作為 HDR10+ 聯盟的創始成員，20 世紀福斯公司將在首次發布支持杜比視界 HDR 的影碟，那就是詹姆斯·卡梅隆監製的《阿麗塔：戰鬥天使》。
迪士尼或卡梅隆授權？
福斯已經發布了超過 100 部 4K 影碟，其中大部分是 HDR10，而《阿麗塔：戰鬥天使》將成為福斯旗下首部支持杜比視界 HDR 的影碟。不僅如此，影碟還將支持基礎的 HDR10 以及 HDR10+。
它標誌著一種轉變，意味著所有主要的好萊塢電影公司現在已經全都發布了杜比視界 HDR 影碟。這也是值得注意的，因為迪士尼在兩個月前獲得了 21 世紀福斯的所有權，包括電影製片廠 20 世紀福斯。
很難說這兩個事件是否相關，畢竟迪士尼迄今為止對此事保持沉默。目前還不清楚迪士尼計劃如何運營福斯，但我們知道被迪士尼趕下臺的前福斯首席技術官、產品戰略總裁以及福斯創新實驗室的負責人 Danny Kaye，他是 HDR10+ 聯盟的發言人之一。
或者也許是因為詹姆斯·卡梅隆與喬恩·蘭道和羅伯特·羅德裡格斯共同打造了這部電影，而詹姆斯·卡梅隆先前提到說《阿凡達》和《鐵達尼號》將推出支持杜比視界 HDR 的影碟，而這兩部影片都是由 20 世紀福斯發行的。
無論情況如何，杜比視界正在建立動力，而 HDR10+ 聯盟似乎也開始出現了分歧。該聯盟的另一個創始成員松下今年早些時候宣布，除了支持 HDR10+ 之外，幾乎所有 2019 款電視的全系列產品都具備杜比視界 HDR 功能。飛利浦是 HDR10+ 的早期支持者，也採用了杜比視界技術，目前只有三星專注於 HDR10+。
