Located in the southeast of Jilin province, Changbaishan Mountain is the birthplace of Yalu, Songhua, and Tumen rivers, which is also the birthplace of China’s Manchu and the sacred mountain of Manchu culture. The 「Changbai」 has a good meaning, which represents the yearning for loyalty and love in Chinese.
Mount Changbaishan covers an area of 1,964 square kilometers, and the core area is 758 square kilometers. The highest peak of the Changbaishan system is the general peak in Korea, with an altitude of 2,749 meters. Baiyun peak, the highest peak in China with an altitude of 2,691 meters, is the highest peak in northeast China.
To appreciate the beautiful rime scenery, visitors should experience three phases, appreciating the fog on Songhua River at night, the rime on trees in the early morning, and rime fall scenery before noon.
Fog scenery can usually be seen around ten o』clock at night. Generally speaking, the thicker the fog, the more magnificent the rime scenery on the following day. Thanks to the thick fog, willows, pines, cypresses, and elms along Songhua River will be coated with rime. After 9 o』clock, the rime on the trees starts to fall in the sunshine, as if it snows.

Rime Island Tour & Jilin Departure
Day 1: Changbaishan Arrival
When you reach Changbai Airport, you can take the hotel shuttle bus to your hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is for your own arrangement. You can go to enjoy the fun and speed of Skiing in Changbaishan Ski Resort or just relax in the hotel, have a cup of afternoon tea, take a bath in the hot spring or experience the beauty, health, and wellness excursions at the hotel Spa Center.
Day 2: Changbaishan Tour
Today we will spend a full day visit the Changbaishan (to up and down from the west slope). Changbaishan is situated in Antu County of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in northeast China, bordering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the south. As a dormant volcano, Changbaishan boasts marvelous lakes, amazing hot springs, forests stretching to the horizon, and many rare animals & plants like Changbaishan ginseng. Changbaishan has the splendid scenery during the four seasons, but it is especially beautiful in winter.
Day 3: Changbaishan - Jilin
In the morning, go to visit the Changbaishan Mojie Scenic Area. The water system of Mojie is the spring water flowing down from the Tianchi of Changbaishan, which does not freeze all year round. During winter, when the temperature reaches minus 20 degrees celsius, fog evaporates, rime appears, and the enchanting scenery is like a fairyland, which seems to be in the ancient world of the primitive society. Photographers call this area "Mojie - The Demon kingdom".
Then drive for about 5 hours back to Jilin, check-in hotel in Jilin.
Day 4: Rime Island Tour & Jilin Departure
Get up early and have a buffet breakfast in the hotel. Then drive for about 1.5 hours to the magical fairyland of Rime Island.
As it says 「Watching the mist at night; enjoying the rime in the morning; appreciating the rime falling down as it gets closed to the noon」, it vividly describes the process of forming and disappearing of rime. The wonder of rime is a magnet for visitors. Jilin City of northeastern China's Jilin Province is the most renowned rime-spotting place in the country. Jilin Wusong Island is famous for the beautiful rimed trees on it. When winter comes, the weeping willows along with the river bank cover with frost and glitter ice. The fog lingers on the island, making it a fairy-tale world.
Zengtong Village on the island is a good place to enjoy the rime, which has an old saying of 『To appreciate the rime, to go to Zengtong Village.』 With grotesque trees, snow-white frost covered the weeping willows along the river, and a light breeze blowing from the river, all of these make up a splendid picture.
The best time to see the rime scenery is 10:00-11:30 am. After fully explored the island around noon, you could choose to explore the city by yourself or head to the airport and departure.

第一天：到達長白山
搭乘飛機到長白山機場，乘坐酒店的機場巴士到酒店辦理入住。

第二天：長白山一日遊

長白山因其主峰白頭山多白色浮石與積雪而得名。它位於歐亞大陸東端，吉林省東南部，中朝兩國邊境上，是中國東北最高的山地。
第三天：長白山 - 吉林
早餐後，我們的司機從酒店大堂接您，之後開車到長白山魔戒。長白山魔界旅遊風景區位於長白山北景區附近，景區處於長白山針葉、闊葉混交林帶，"魔界"的水系是長白山天池流瀉而下的溫泉水，常年不結冰，每到冬季，當氣溫達零下20攝氏度時，霧氣蒸騰，出現霧凇和樹掛，氤氳繚繞、天人一體、旖旎景色如仙境，仿佛到了原始社會的遠古世界，攝影人稱這裡為"魔界"。之後開車約5小時到達吉林入住酒店。
第四天：吉林 - 返程
早餐後開車約1.5小時到達霧凇島。霧凇島是松花江上的一座小島，位於吉林省吉林市龍潭區烏拉街滿族鎮。烏拉街滿族鎮的韓屯、曾通屯等村落是霧凇最為集中的地方，也是觀賞和拍攝霧凇的最佳地。尤其在曾通村，素有"賞霧凇，到曾通"的說法。霧凇島的最佳觀賞季節是每年12月下旬到次年2月底，每天最理想的霧凇拍攝時間為10:00-11:30之間。行程結束後送去長春機場搭乘飛機離開。
