According to the different dragon pictures on the back, it can be divided into two types: Li Long (version 1) and Fei Long (version 2). For the "Lilong" version, a flower star is cast in the center of the front, a "Guangxu Yuanbao" and a bead ring are cast in the outer ring, a "made in Sichuan Province" is cast in the upper edge, a "Dang 30" is cast in the lower edge, and a "Baoyuan" is cast in the left and right sides; in the middle of the back is a picture of the dragon, commonly known as "Lilong", a "Sichuan" in English is cast in the upper edge, and an Arabic numeral "3" is cast in the lower edge It is commonly known as the "Cross Star". For the "Feilong" version, the front is the same as that of the "Lilong" version; on the back, a dragon figure is cast in the middle, commonly known as "Feilong", with the outer ring of beads, the upper edge of which is the English "Sichuan" and the lower edge of which is the characters of the age value, which are respectively the Arabic numeral "30" and the English currency unit "Wen", with a "plum star" on both sides. In June 1903, Sichuan Province started casting copper yuan in Chengdu silver yuan Bureau attached to Chengdu Machinery Bureau. The following year, a copper coin factory was built to make copper coins. According to the inscriptions on the upper edge of the coin surface, the copper coins made in Sichuan Province can be divided into two systems: "made in Sichuan official bureau" and "made in Sichuan Province". Sichuan when thirty copper yuan belongs to the latter. Due to the fact that the mint institutions in Sichuan Province have been added and merged, and the lack of detailed literature, it is difficult to determine where and when the copper coins with the title of "made in Sichuan Province" were cast. According to the traditional arrangement, this kind of coin has always been placed after the "Sichuan official bureau made" copper yuan. Although predecessors have not explained this arrangement, it seems reasonable. Therefore, the author thinks that this coin should be the thirty copper yuan, and its specific casting time should be the thirtieth year of Guangxu (1904).
