1、 instead是副詞，意思:代替，頂替。通常位於句末。

「代替、而不是」後面可接名詞，代詞，動名
2、 instead of-是介詞短語，意思:等。
The two boys will do their homework at home______playing 這兩個男孩將在家作業而不是玩。
(1) as soon as意為「一「就「，剛「就」，引導的時間狀語從句，主句用一般將來時，從句用一般現在時表示將來
I will tell him the news as soon as he comes back主句用一般過去時，從句用一般過去時。
He took out his English book as soon as he sat
down
(2) so＂＂＂that意為「如此以至於」引導結果狀語從句，so adj. /adv.that從句。
He was so angry that he couldnt say a word
(3) remind意為「提醒，使想起」，及物動詞

1)在 so＂.that…中，so用於句首，句子要用倒裝語序。
2)在此短語中，若修飾的形容詞後有名詞時，要用such代替so。

(2) as soon as意為「就」
該短語引導時間狀語從句。在使用時，通常主句和從句的時態一樣，但是，如果主句使用一般(或過去)將來時時，從句一般要用一般現在(或過去)時。
