看美劇、刷電影，old school、old man、old... 見到可真不少！就是有點懵，Old school ≠ 老學校、Old man ≠ 老男人，真正的意思你絕對想不到！
old man 是什麼意思？
先來聽首歌，Old Man，這是由尼爾·楊 （Neil Young 全名：Neil Percival Young，尼爾·珀西瓦爾·楊）演唱的一首歌曲。本曲在2014年上映的電影《敢死隊3》片尾被四位新人翻唱。

Old School，字面理解，「school」就是「學校」的意思，老派前輩謙虛，稱自己是該風格school（學校）的學生。

七八十年代紐約街頭的嘻哈式風格是 old school 風格的，之後出現new school 風格，簡單的說，你要穿出old school運動風就要穿回70、80年代的紐約街頭感。
old girl, old lady, old wife, old woman
old girl, old lady, old wife, old woman：這四者都指「女人」,但意思和用法並不相同:
old girl 一般用於子女對母親或丈夫對妻子的暱稱,也可用於對任何年齡女子的愛稱(如老大姐),有時則用於貶義,是一種諷刺或不尊敬的稱呼。在英國學校中可指「女校友」「女畢業生」。old girl還可用作母馬的愛稱,常譯為「老夥計」。
