After a lot of hard work,

Remember, you need to make your
product stand out.
記住，你需要讓你的產品引人注目。
So tell people what is special about
it.
因此要告訴人們它有什麼特別之處。
How can you do that?
你要怎麼做呢？
Here are a few suggestions.
這裡有一些建議。
Create an ad.
創作一個廣告。
First,study your customers' ages,
interests and other information.
首先，調查你的顧客的年齡、愛好及其他信息。
Second, choose a type of ad - TV,bus,magazine,newspaper or Internet.
第二，選擇一種廣告類型——電視、公交、雜誌、報紙還是網絡。
Third, decide what your ad will tell
people about your product.
第三，確定你的（這個）產品廣告要告訴人們什麼信息。
Find ways to catch their eye.
要找到（令產品）惹人注目的辦法。
Go to trade shows and present your product.
去交易展會展示你的產品。
People coming to trade shows
already have an interest in similar
products.

They can experience your product,
enjoy it and even come to love it.

四、知識點講解。
1.Now you have to get people to buy it.
意為：現在你要讓人們來買它。have to"必須"「不得不」。get sb. to do sth."讓某人做某事"，相當於make sb. do sth.，如：The teacher got him to clean the blackboard.=The teacher
made him clean the blackboard.老師讓他擦黑板。
2.Is your product easy to use?
意為：你的產品易於使用嗎？easy to use"易於使用"，類似的還有：easy to learn易於學會，difficult to understand難以理解，hard to believe難以置信，等等。
3.Remember, you need to make your product stand out.
意為：記住，你需要讓你的產品引人注目。make sb. do sth.「讓/使得某人做某事」,如：What made her cry?是什麼事讓她哭起來？stand out「出色」「傑出」「引人注目」，本課中表達類似意思的短語還有：catch their eye「吸引他們的目光/注意」「惹人注目」。
4.Here are a few suggestions.
意為：這裡有一些建議。a few「一些」，具有肯定含義，接可數名詞複數形式，如：a few products一些產品。few"幾乎沒有"「很少」，具有否定含義，也接可數名詞複數形式，如：He has few friends.他幾乎沒有朋友。suggestion「建議」，是一個可數名詞，可加s變成複數形式，如：some suggestions一些建議。advice「建議」，是一個不可數名詞，沒有複數形式。如：some advice一些建議。
5.Create an ad.
意為：創作一個廣告。create"創造"「創作」，如：1）I don't believe that God created the world.我不相信是上帝創造了世界。2）Mr. Lu likes to create music.陸先生喜歡創作樂曲。create的形容詞形式是creative"創造性的""有創造力的"。ad「廣告」，是一個可數名詞，如：an ad一則廣告；some ads一些廣告。ad可以看作是advertisement的縮寫。而advertising意為：「廣告活動」「做廣告」，是一個不可數名詞，詞尾不要加s。如：some advertising一些廣告宣傳。
6.Find ways to catch their eye.
意為：要找到（令產品）惹人注目的辦法。catch one's eye「吸引某人的目光/注意」「惹人注目」，注意：這裡的eye不用複數形式。
7.People coming to trade shows
already have an interest in similar
products.
意為：來交易展會的人們早已對此類產品很感興趣。have an interest in…「在……方面有興趣」「對……有興趣」。相當於be interested in…。含有interest的短語還有：places of interest名勝古蹟。interest還作「業餘愛好」講，相當於hobby,這時interest有複數形式。如：He has many interests.他有許多愛好。similar"相像的"「相似的」「相仿的」，如：We have very similar ages.我們年齡相仿。be similar to…「和……相似」，Jim is similar to his brother.吉姆和他的哥哥長得相像。
8.They can experience your product,enjoy it and even come to love it.
意為：他們會體驗你的產品，喜歡它，甚至愛上它。come to love…"愛上……"「開始愛上……」，強調一個逐漸的過程，再如：come to realize…「逐漸意識到……」「開始意識到……」；come to believe…「逐漸相信……」「開始相信……」。這裡的come to do sth.相當於get to do sth.。如：You will come to realize that it's important to protect the environment.=You will get to realize that it's important to protect the environment.你會漸漸意識到保護環境很重要。
9.Push your product using samples
and good deals.
意為：利用樣品和優惠來推銷你的產品。這裡（good） deals作「折扣」「優惠」「划算」講。
10.People get to know the
advantages of your product after
they experience using it.
意為：人們體驗使用之後，會了解你的產品的優點。get to know…「開始了解……」「漸漸了解……」，相當於come to know,詳見本課知識點8。這裡experience作「體驗」講，後面可接名詞，如：experience that product體驗那個產品。experience doing…「體驗做……」，如：You can experience planting trees.你可以體驗一下植樹（的感覺）。注意：experience的形容詞形式是：experienced有經驗的，老練的。
11.Offering samples and deals will
get you more customers.
意為：提供樣品和優惠將會讓你擁有更多的顧客。這句話是動詞-ing形式做主語，offering samples and deals這件事情做句子的主語。這裡offer作「提供」「供給」講，常用結構為：offer sb. sth.=offer sth. to sb.給某人提供某物。如：The school offers the sudents hot water.=The school offers hot water to the students.那個學校給學生提供熱水。
12.These suggestions can make
your product really shine.
意為：這些建議能讓你的產品脫穎而出。這裡shine作「出色」「出類拔萃」「脫穎而出」講。這裡的shine和前面的stand out、catch people's eye意義相近。當然，shine還可作「發光」「反射」「照耀」講，如：It's fine morning.The sun is shining brightly.這是一個晴朗的早晨，太陽明亮地照耀著。
13.With a good quality product and
excellent advertising, you will surely
succeed.
意為：有了優質產品，再加上優秀的廣告宣傳，你一定會成功的。這裡surely作「肯定無疑」「必定」講，相當於certainly。succeed"成功"「做成」，是一個動詞，短語：succeed in…「在……方面取得成功」「順利地做成某事」，如：He succeeded in passing the driving test.他順利地通過了駕駛考試。succeed的名詞形式是success，它的形容詞形式是sucessful"獲得成功的"「有成就的」。
