爸爸今天在家。
I will help my dad do things.
我會幫爸爸做些事。
「Wake up, Dad,」 I say.
「爸爸，起床，」我說。
「We have work to do.」
「我們有活要幹。」
I make breakfast for him all by myself.於是我親自煮早餐給爸爸吃。
我剪草。
Oops! The mower got away!
糟了！鏟草機跑了！
「Sorry, Dad,」 I say.
「對不起，爸爸，「 我說。
I wash the car, just for Dad.
我為爸爸洗車，是專門為他洗車哦。
Who left the windows open?
可誰把車窗打開了？
我還會粉刷牆面。
But Dad has to finish.
但是爸爸不得不幫我完成
「I will fix it, Dad,」 I call.Dad is yelling something.
爸爸大聲呼叫著。
「Run!」 Dad yells. 「Run!」
「快跑！」爸爸呼叫。「跑！」
I run fast.
我飛快地跑起來。
We go to town, just Dad and me.只是我和爸爸兩個人去小鎮。
We buy gas.
我們買了汽油。
I say, 「Dad, I can pump gas.」
「爸爸，我可以用泵加油。」
Dad pumps the gas.
爸爸加著汽油拒絕了我。
We go to the store.我們去商店。
I get stuff for dad.
我幫爸爸買東西。
「Too much, Dad?」 I ask.
「買太多了嗎，爸爸？」 我問。
Dad needs a new hammer.
爸爸需要一個新的錘子。
「This hammer really works!
「這錘子真好用！」
Sorry about the nails,」 I say.
「關於釘子我很抱歉，」 我說。
We get a parking ticket.我們給罰了停車單。
Dad does not look happy.
爸爸看上去有些沮喪。
Dad says，「I am not mad, just not happy.」
爸爸說，「我不是生氣，只是不開心。」
I say, 「that’s fair, Dad.」
我說，「那就好，爸爸。」
We go home.我們回家。
Mom says.「The toilet is broken.」
媽媽說，「馬桶塞了。」
「I will fix it,」 I say.
「我來修，」 我說。
I can’t fix it. I call Dad.
我修不了，於是我叫了爸爸來處理。
I forgot to turn off the hose.我忘了擰緊水管。
I say, 「That’s okay, Dad.
我說，「不要緊的，爸爸，
Grass loves water!」
草喜歡水！」
We have dinner.我們吃了晚餐，
Then Dad and I watch a movie.
然後爸爸和我看了部電影。
Dad is tired.
爸爸已經累壞了。
It’s time to sleep.睡覺的時間到了
Dad tucks me in.
爸爸把我了背起來送我回去睡覺。
「Did I help you, Dad?」 I ask.
「我幫上忙了嗎，爸爸？」 我問。
Dad says,「Yes, you did. Thank you.」
爸爸說，「你當然幫上了，謝謝。」
What a great day,可以幫助我爸爸！
