英語試講 | What can you do?

Good morning, dear judges,I’m number two candidates , my topic is what can you do now I show my lesson.

Step 1 warming-up

Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? You are good, you are fine, great. I am great, too. Are you ready for our English class? OK, let’s sing a 「Happy song」 everybody stands up, ready? go!

If you’re happy and you know it, Clap your hands. If you’re happy and you know it, Clap your hands. if you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it, if you’re happy and you know it, Clap your hands. Wow, I love your voice. Please sit down. Please sit down. 

Step 2 pre-listening

Now I do you guess, ok?  I can run(動作). I can jump（動作）so, today our topic is 「what can you do ?」(板書)

Step 3 while—listening

First listening

Now, boys and girls, do you remember our friend zhang peng and John? Yes, they will have an English party. Do you know when the party is? Please listen to me carefully(老師讀) and find the answers. Have you found the answers? any volunteers? Jack please, yes, they』ll have a party on next Tuesday. you are so clever, sit down please.

Second listening

Boys and girls, if your school will have an English party, what can you do? David, please, he can dance, excellent! Do you want to know Zhang Peng and John can do what? No, that’s ok, let’s listen to the tape and find the answers?  before listening, please pay attention to these questions

1.What can Zhan Peng do for the party?  

2.what can John do for the party?

Ok， the tape is over. The first questions, who wants to try? brave girl, lily please. Zhang Peng can sing English songs. (板書) Is she right? wonderful, give me five (做動作). Next questions, Amy you please, John can do some Kungfu(板書). Very good, sit down please.

Third-listening

Now boys and girls, let 『s read after the tape and then make a new dialogue. I will give you three minutes, are you clear? Here we go, time is over. Who wants to share your dialogue? Jack and your partner. (眼神交流) OK, sit down please , I love your pronunciation .

Step 4 Post-listening  

Boys and girls, I need your help, if your school will have a welcoming party, please  do a survey about your classmates : what can you do? and finish below chart. (手指ppt). 4 students are in one group. Then make a report to the class. I give you five minutes.

Ok, time is up. Any volunteers. Tom and jerry, you please. Come here. Don’t be shy.

Oh, Tom can do some dishes, how about Jerry? he can dance. Great! Clap for them. (拍手)

Yes, they can be an example for us. Let’s clap for them. Good, good you’re good.

Step 5 Summary and Homework

Now boys and girls, time is flying, at the end of our class, I choose our monitor to make a summary, please we have learned sentence pattern. (手指黑板）so We should develop the habit of loving labor，ok ?

Here comes our homework, after class please ask your parents and friends 「what can he/she do?」.

Today all of you did a good job, I am proud of you. See you next time.
