Why is it a skulk of foxes?
現在一群狐狸(a skulk of foxes)大多與fantasy(玄幻)或者是Detective mystery films （偵探懸疑）有關。
一群狐狸被稱為a skulk, leash或earth。「skulk」一詞可以用來形容任何一種害蟲(特效動畫電影/遊戲裡蟲型角色名稱)，但它尤其與狐狸有關，在歐洲和英國狐狸確實被認為是一種有害動物（vermins），因為它們的數量很多。「skulk」一詞的主要意思是等待、潛伏或偷偷摸摸地四處走動。它來自於早期的斯堪地那維亞語，意為malinger(v. 裝病，誇大病情以逃避職責)，避開自己或逃學。眾所周知，狐狸在被追捕時總是躲躲閃閃的，它們會跑到洞裡或樹上躲避追捕。「躲躲藏藏」(skulk)一群人的特殊用法可能就是源於這種行為。
