   本周開始進行小學視導。期間一定會請授課老師提供教學設計和教學反思。從教近三十年,受益於勤於學習、勇於實踐、善於反思。因此,希望有更多的志同道合者一起如此這般攜手前行。而本學期開始在教研員的崗位上工作,於是,告訴自己還有一件重要的事情要去做,那就是樂於分享。希望江南一燭能夠在照亮自己的同時,照亮更多身邊的老師們!

   今天和大家一起分享的是本原小學張小婕老師的教學設計和反思,希望對大家有所幫助。    

  

Unit 5 Dinner’s ready ( A Let’s learn )

PEP小學英語四年級上冊

 

一、教學內容與目標

(1)本部分的學習單詞時:beef, chicken, noodles, soup,vegetable。

(2)本部分的教學目標是:學生能聽、說、認讀上述單詞;能夠熟練運用句型What would you like? I』d like some.徵求和表達用餐意願。

(3)本部分的情感、文化目標是:了解用餐禮儀,能夠對用餐建議作出恰當反應。初步了解中西方餐飲文化的差異。

二、教學重點、難點

1)本部分的教學重點是5個新單詞和句型What would you like? I』d like some ....

2)能準確表達自己的用餐意願,熟練運用用餐語言。

三、教學過程

1.Warm-up (class work)

Singa song: 「I’m hungry.」

2.Lead-in (individual work)

Astory: 「 The very hungry caterpillar. 「



T: What did the caterpillar eat?

T: The caterpillar ate a lot of food. It became a beautiful butterfly. If we eat a lot of food, what will happen?

T: Yes, we will become a fat guy. Do not eat too much.

3. Revision (class work)

   Brainstorm

T: There are some food here.Do you know what they are?

4. Pre-talk (individual work)

T: Tea is my favorite drink. What is your favorite drink?

T: What is your favorite food?

T: Do you like Chinese food or western food?

5. Presentation ( class work and individual work )

Present the new words

T present a picture of a western restaurant.

T: Look at the man. He is a waiter. Look at the woman. She is a waitress.

T: What’s in the waiter’s hand?

T: A menu.

T: Look at the menu. What is today’s special?

Present the new sentence structure

T: A man and a woman are in a restaurant. They are ordering the food.

  Try to guess what will the waitress say?

  What would the man like?

  What would the woman like?

6. Practise ( Pair work and group work)

T: I』ll be the waitress. Who is hungry?

T and Ss practice first, then Ss practice in pairs.

T: I’m hungry. I want to be the customer. I』d like some turkey.

T: People eat turkey in a festival. What festival is it? Yes, it is Thanksgiving Day.

Shall we have a party on Thanksgiving? What would you like for Thanksgiving?

S1: What would you like forThanksgiving?

S2: I』d like

S3: I』d like

S4: I』d like....

Ss ask and answer in groups. The group leader asks question 「What would you like for Thanksgiving?」 and group members answer.

7. Extension(individual work)

Talk about how to eat healthily/

T: People usually eat a lot of food in festivals. Do not eat too much on Thanksgiving party. If you eat too much, you』ll be fat, or you』ll be sick.

How to eat healthily? It is an important course in our life.

T: We should eat/drink more..., we should eat/drink less...

Present the food pyramid.

8. Moral Education

T present some pictures of the poor and hungry children

T: In this world, there are some people who do not have enough food to eat. They are still living in hunger. We are lucky. We have food, clothes and family. Please cherish our life and don’t waste food.


教學反思

   基礎教育階段英語課程的任務是通過各種教學活動,激發和培養學生學習英語的興趣,養成良好的學習習慣和形成有效的學習策略,發展自主學習的能力與合作創新的精神,培養學生綜合運用英語的能力。本堂課是遵循以上原則,並結合小學英語課程標準的要求而設計的。課堂教學以「What would youlike?」為主題,與生活相關的食物貫穿始終。我在課堂上為學生營造了一個輕鬆有趣的學習氛圍,促使學生積極主動地學習英語,並將所學的知識自然有效地運用於生活實際,收到了「現學現用、學用結合」的成效。

   我校一直以來努力打造陽光課堂,培養陽光學生。基於這一理念,我在教學過程中依據教學要求、結合教學內容有意識地充實了豐富有趣、針對性強的開放性遊戲活動,使孩子們在「樂中學、學中樂」。我從以下三個方面來反思這節課。

一、比較滿意的環節

   這堂課我比較滿意的是課堂開頭的引入部分和新授單詞的呈現部分。我以學生非常熟悉原版繪本故事《The very hungry caterpillar》來引入本課。


   孩子們都喜歡繪本故事,這個故事又是他們所熟悉的,裡面出現的食物也是孩子們之前學過的,他們聽得津津有味。故事最後毛毛蟲因為吃了很多食物而變成一隻漂亮的蝴蝶,引導學生們思考,如果我們吃很多食物,會怎麼樣?以此來引入到本課要學習的內容。引入自然流暢,提高了趣味性,也給學生提供了足夠的英語輸入。在新授本課5個單詞時,我並不是直接給圖片呈現單詞,而是給了幾個首字母在菜單上,讓學生來猜猜今日推薦是哪幾樣食物。學生通過已有的知識猜出了很多以「c」開頭的有關食物的單詞,如「cake, Coke, chicken」等。通過此活動,提高了課堂學習的趣味性,也讓學生學會思索,喚醒已有知識進行新的學習。

二、需要改進的環節

這堂課我覺得需要改進的地方有兩個。

一是教師呈現菜單後,不應該單純地帶學生讀食物和價格,因為菜單上的食物是學生已知的單詞,雖然價格可能些難度,但也可以通過引導請一些優秀的學生來回答,其他學生跟讀。學生才是課堂的主人,教師應該把說話的主動權交給學生,教師可以提問,「How much is the ....?」, 讓學生來回答,可以是全班回答也可以請個人回答。

二是本節課的主線條不夠清晰,教師想儘可能多的設計與食物有關的話題與活動,但是一節課的時間有限,顯得有點蜻蜓點水,沒有真正落實到位。如果這節課通過學習食物的單詞後想拓展到感恩節想吃的食物,教師可以沿著這個主題再討論聖誕節,或者中國傳統節日的飲食,讓學生初步了解「Dumpling, Zongzi」等食物。如果是想講健康飲食,合理飲食,就應該沿著這條線在討論得深入一點。總之,活動是為所學的內容而設計的,必須能讓學生多說,想說,才能體現活動的意義。

三、今後努力的方向

    從這堂課的施教情況來看,我深深感受到教師具備良好的語言素質和教學組織能力以及富有創新精神的重要性;同時,我也感受到創設和諧的朋友式的師生關係的必要性。在新課程標準改革的大潮中,身為一名小學英語教師,我願虛心地向大家學習,以新課程標準的理念積極地去探索、大膽地去嘗試、勇敢地去實踐!
