五隻小猴子坐在樹上面

Five little monkeys and their mama

walk down to the river

for a picnic supper.

猴媽媽帶著五隻小猴子

到河邊去野餐


Mama spreads out a blanket

and settles down for a snooze…

猴媽媽鋪開了毯子

就躺下來打了個盹兒...


…. while five little monkeys

climb a tree to watch Mr. Crocodile.

原來他們趁著媽媽打盹兒

悄悄爬到了一棵大樹上

河中央住著鱷魚先生


Five little monkeys,sitting in a tree,

tease Mr. Crocodile,"Can't catch me!"

Along comes Mr. Crocodile…

五隻小猴子，坐在大樹上，

他們逗弄著鱷魚先生

"哈哈！你不能抓住我！"

鱷魚先生遊過來了...


SNAP!

Oh, no! Where is she?

"吧嗒！"

哦不！她在哪兒？


Four little monkeys,sitting in a tree,

tease Mr. Crocodile,

"Can't catch me!"

Along comes Mr. Crocodile…

四隻小猴子，坐在大樹上，他們逗弄著鱷魚先生

"哈哈！你不能抓住我！"

鱷魚先生遊過來了...


SNAP!

Oh, no! Where is he?

"吧嗒！"

哦不！他在哪兒？


Three little monkeys,sitting in a tree,

tease Mr. Crocodile,

"Can't catch me!"

Along comes Mr. Crocodile…

三隻小猴子，坐在大樹上

他們逗弄著鱷魚先生

"哈哈！你不能抓住我！"

鱷魚先生遊過來了...


SNAP!

Oh, no! Where is he? 

"吧嗒！"

哦不！他在哪兒？


Two little monkeys,sitting in a tree,

Now there's only one little monkey,

sitting in a tree,

teasing Mr. Crocodile,

"Can't catch me!"

Along comes Mr. Crocodile…

現在只剩下一隻小猴子了

他坐在大樹上逗弄著鱷魚先生

"哈哈！你不能抓住我！"

鱷魚先生遊過來了...


SNAP!

Oh, no!

There are NO little monkeys 

sitting in the tree.

But, wait! Look!

"吧嗒！"

天哪，小猴子們全都不見了！

(難道鱷魚先生都把他們吃掉了嗎？

猴媽媽急哭了，完全不知道怎麼辦)

噢，等等！看！

整整齊齊地坐在大樹上

Their mama hugs them.

猴媽媽激動地抱著她的孩子們


Their mama scolds them.

"Never tease a crocodile.

It's not nice – and it's dangerous."

猴媽媽批評了他們

以後不許再逗弄鱷魚先生啦！

這是不禮貌的，而且很危險!

The five little monkeys and

their mama eat a delicious

picnic supper.  

五隻小猴子和猴媽媽美美地享用了他們的野餐。


And they do not tease Mr. Crocodile again!

他們再也不敢逗弄鱷魚先生啦！
