親愛的小朋友們，你們發現了嗎？這本繪本採用的是一頁黑白一頁彩色的繪畫形式——黑白頁是炭筆畫，彩色頁是水彩畫。主人公陷入困境時，畫者就把畫面畫成黑白；當主人公知難而進時，就會畫成彩色。這一黑一彩，其實也是一種潛在的節奏，節奏忽快忽慢，我們的心也仿佛跟著爸爸和孩子們的腳步一起忽快忽慢地前進。

Michael Rosen，1946年生於英國。他是一位詩人、劇作家，同時還是一位播音員和表演工作者。他畢業於牛津的瓦罕大學，曾在BBC電視臺工作了三年。自1970年開始創作童書，至今已經出版了十六本。Michael曾經榮獲過非凡詩作獎，《我們要去捉狗熊》不但連獲英國數項大獎，還成為了一本流行歐美的暢銷書。
