We're Going On A Bear Hunt 講述了一家人外出狩獵野熊被發現後驚險逃脫的奇遇。故事的最後，設置了討論欄來引導孩子在理解全文的基礎上，鍛鍊自己的表達輸出能力。

作者Michael Rosen 以韻文朗詩的方式呈現，重新講述這個一家大小一起獵熊的故事，語句幽默生動，朗朗上口的詩句更讓小朋友也能喜歡跟著大聲說故事。

 故事描述一家人在一個天氣晴暖的日子出發獵熊，穿越田野、河流、沼澤、森林和大風雪，終於找到熊所居住的洞穴；但是他們一見到熊就嚇得往回跑，穿過大風雪、森林、沼澤、河流和田野回到家。作者巧妙組合不同的詞句，又生動表達前半段獵熊的興奮、與後半段被熊追趕的緊張刺激，十分精彩有趣。

一、導入

What a beautiful day! I am going on a bear hunt,and I am going to catch a big bear.(用手勢表現big)
I bring some tools,Let's see:flashlight（手電筒）、telescope（望眼鏡）、cap（帽子）、a glass of water、bag.（可以給出照片也可以給出實物）
Make a list of things that you might need if you were going on a bear hunt.Today's book is called We're Going on a Bear Hunt.Father,a girl,a boy and a babyThey are going on a bear hunt!Do you want to join them?
OK!Boys and girls, we’re going on a bear hunt!Let’s go!（做出如下動作）We're going on a bear hunt.（一起做走的動作）We're going to catch a big one.（雙手伸開表示big)What a beautiful day!(單手扶頭遠望天空）準備書中人物的棒偶（2個就可以），並將圖片列印出來，在底部偏上方剪出一條線路。Can you go over it?(棒偶越過圖片上方表示over的概念）Can you go under it?（棒偶通過圖片下方表示under的概念）We've got to go through it!（棒偶通過剪出的線路穿過圖片）We're going on a bear hunt.

We're going to catch a big one.

What a beautiful day!

We're not scared.

What do you see ?A river! 
We've got to go through it!
We're going on a bear hunt.
We're going to catch a big one.

Uh-uh!(緊急停止）

We've got to go through it!
Squelch squerch!(做出艱難抬腳的動作）
We're going on a bear hunt.
We're going to catch a big one.
What do you see ? A forest!
We've got to go through it!
We're going on a bear hunt.
We're going to catch a big one.
What do you see ?  A snowstorm! A swirling whirling snowstorm.
We've got to go through it!
We're going on a bear hunt.
We're going to catch a big one.
What do you see ?  A cave!
We've got to go through it!（做出噤聲的動作，噓~~）
It's dark here.We can't see anything!

WHAT'S THAT?（小聲說）

One shiny wet nose!（指出鼻子）
Two big furry ears!（指出耳朵）
Two big goggly eyes!（指出眼睛）
（語速加快，並拿出熊的棒偶，人物的棒偶跑回家，熊在後面追）Quick! Back through the cave! Tiptoe! Tiptoe! Tiptoe!
Back through the snowstorm! Hoooo wooooo! Hoooo wooooo!
Back through the forest! Stumble trip! Stumble trip! Stumble trip!
Back through the mud! Squelch squerch! Squelch squerch!
Back through the river! Splash splosh! Splash splosh! Splash splosh!
Back through the grass! Swishy swashy! Swishy swashy!We forgot to shut the door.
Under the covers.（蓋上被子，氣喘籲籲）

We're not going on a bear hunt again.
