They are Nobody
Here are some stories of Nobody in the plague, who can hardly be defined as a hero and no one cares his/her name since he/she has never do sth great or typical. But who can be a hero if there is Nobody standing behind him and working for him silently?
I. Families of Mr. Big——According to a nurse diary in Wuhan
Mr. Big is a hospital cleaner who has worked for Wuhan Jinyintan hospital over 6 years. No one knows his name except his big and strong figures although he always helps docters and nurses with a gentle smile. He always calls everybody Teacher with his respect although some young nurses are younger than his son. And the young girls are usually embarrassed by the appellation since they are not only not old but also not a teacher. Every time they askes him not to call them teacher smiley and seriously, Mr. Big always answers politely,"OK, teacher."
He seems to be familiar with all kinds of miscellnaries of the hospital and always to be asked to give a hand in the hospital. But his major job is to clean the toxic hospital garbages everyday and the pay seems to be richer than the other cleaners, but far less than doctors and nurses yet.
As the plague broke out, Mr. Big were one of the 15 cleaners who choose to stay at the hospital voluntedly. Before the plague, there were more than 60 cleaners. But now the hospital is not only short of doctors and nurses, but also short of cleaners. As one of the most important hospital centres curing the worst patients, the hospital becomes one of the most dangerous place. And medical wastes are more fatal than usuals. Mr. Big has to clean four floors everyday for more than twice and clean the garbage in time. Due to plastic defencing clothe, after cleaning up one floor, he has to take a breath for half an hour in the hospital yard so as to wait all the sweat in the clothe evaporated before going back to work.
According to Relaxation Order, all the doctors and nurses are obliged to leave their work and take a relax during the plague. Cleaners like Mr.Big, however, are not on the list. Especially on the occasion of the serious situation, Mr.Big has to work day by day. But no one has ever see any complaint in his face. On the contrary, "teacher, please make a way and let me clean your office." says he with a gentle smile politely.
Everyday doctors and nurses came across with him untill one morning he didn't appear in the hospital as usual, while a middle-age woman took his place. Many worried about him although his name is nobody.
"Where is he?"They asked the woman anxiously.
"He is so tired that I asked my husband to stay home this morning,Teacher," responsed Mrs. Nobody with a gentle smile politely,"and let me do his job. "
Sometimes his son is in his place, helping his parent to clean the office. But Mr. Big never permits his families to touch any toxic wastes and always clean the wastes himself whenever and wherever he is.
I don't, and will never know who Mr.Nobody is all my life. But I really know there is some one who is also defending the mortals like you and me like all the angels fighting against the tragic disaster.
