words my name is Alisha and today we're gonna talk about ten words that you can use at the supermarket 

開始吧

so let's go

第一個詞是購物籃

 the first word is basket

購物籃通常是可以提在手上的塑料籃子或者金屬籃子

basket basket is the usually plastic or sometimes metal basket you carry on your arm

你在超市裡可以用購物籃裝你要買的商品

or you carry with your hand that you put items in at the supermarket

去拿購物籃！

in a sentence pick up a basket

購物車

接下來的詞是購物車

the next expression is shopping cart

購物車就是一個可以推的購物籃

shopping cart is like a big basket you can push it

你可以用來裝你要買的東西

it's a cart that you use to put your shopping in your items in

我不要要購物車

in a sentence I don't need a shopping cart

打折

下一個詞是打折

the next expression is on sale on sale 

當一件商品在打折 那麼它的價格就會更低更優惠

when an item is on sale, it means it's at a cheaper price it's at a discount

打折可以是減價多少元或者減價百分之幾

this can be a price discount this can be a percentage discount

比如：這些商品的價格降低了30%或者降低了5刀

so for example there are items let's see on sale 30% off or on sale for five dollars

例句：楓糖漿正在打折

for example in a sentence hey maple syrup is on sale

楓糖漿的確是在打折 所以我才舉了這個例子

but maple syrup the other day that's why that's that examples in this one

付一得二

付一得二是一種優惠的方式

 two for one is a type of bargain a type of discount

「二」是指兩件商品 比如我要買兩瓶水

 two two items so if I have two water bottles for example

我買了兩瓶水 只花了一瓶水的錢

I buy two water bottles for the price of one water bottle

所以付一得二的意思就是買兩件商品只付一件的錢

so this means I can have two items at the price of just one item 

這就是這個詞的意思啦

so that's what this type of bargain this type of sale means 

例句：冰淇淋付一得二

in a sentence there's a two-for-one deal on this ice cream!

下一個詞是買一送一

the next expression is buy one get one free

買一送一和付一得二其實是差不多的

buy one get one free actually is the same thing as two-for-one when you think about it

正文底端字幕,,0,0,0,,買一件商品可以免費得到相同的一件商品

so buy one item get one item the same item free

如果送的是一樣的商品 那麼就和」付一得二」是一樣的

 if the item is the same item, then yes it's it's the same as a two-for-one

買一送一就是買一件商品 免費送一件相同的或者功能相似的商品

but you buy one item you get same item or equivalent item for free 

這就是買一送一的優惠

so you might see a buy one get one free sale 

例句：義大利麵醬買一送一

in a sentence pasta sauces buy one get one free.

下一個詞是__磅 可能在你國家可能是__千克或者__盎司

 the next expression is _ per pound or in your country it might be per kilogram or per ounce for example

這是一個量度單位 是重量單位

so but the key here is a unit of measurement a unit of weight in this expression 

你在超市了買的某些商品 價格和它們的重量有關

so some items in a supermarket you purchase you buy according to how much they weigh, their weight

Dialogue: 舉個例子 假如你想買麥片

so if you want to buy cereal for example 

你可以稱一磅或者一千克的麥片

you can measure like maybe a pound of cereal or a kilogram of cereal 

然後乘以沒磅或者每千克麥片的價格就得出了它的總價

and then the amount the weight of the product equals a price

加入每磅土豆1刀 你買了5磅土豆 那麼你就得支付5刀

so for example if sth is $1.00 per pound and you buy 5 pounds of potatoes for example that means it's 5 dollars

這個詞就是每個重量單位的商品價格是多少的意思

so this is an expression that shows how much something costs according to weight

在超市裡 你同樣會看見重量單位前有一個斜槓

in a supermarket you also might see a price with a slash mark before the unit of measurement

Dialogue: 這個斜槓讀作「每」 比如__每磅 或者__每千克

this slash mark is read per something something per pound per kilogram and so on

例句：土豆每磅3刀

in a sentence potatoes are 3 dollars per pound

食品雜貨

下個詞是食品雜貨 這個詞出現在雜貨店裡

 the next word is groceries groceries you might also hear this in the word grocery store

食品雜貨是指食物 任何食物都是食品雜貨

groceries just means food products any food products are groceries or food 

不過我猜它也可以指其它生活用品 比如紙巾

and maybe you can include everyday life products here too like paper towels I suppose 

但是一般人都覺得食品雜貨只包括食品

but usually people associate usually people understand groceries to mean food products

所以有時我們也會將超市稱為雜貨店

so that's why we sometimes call supermarkets grocery stores as well

例句：我需要去買一些食物

in a sentence I need to buy some groceries

冰凍食物

下一個詞是冰凍食物 是一種受歡迎又普遍的食物

the next expression is frozen meals so frozen meals or maybe a popular a common way to to prepare a meal

通常你可以在超市或者雜貨店的冷凍區找到它們

usually they are found in the freezer section of a supermarket or the freezer section of a grocery store 

冰凍食物是已經加工過的食物被裝在盒子裡冷凍

these are meal which are pre-prepared so they are prepared and frozen in a box

你可以選擇一份冰凍食物 帶回家用烤箱或者微波爐加熱

and you can choose one meal in a box and take it home heat it up in your oven or your microwave

所以冰凍食物就是裝在盒子裡 你可以帶回家加熱的食物

so it's one meal complete meal in theory in a box and you can eat it later after you heat it up

例句：我很少買冰凍食物

in a sentence I rarely buy frozen meals 

這是真的

that's true

結帳

Dialogue: 

下一個詞是結帳 結帳就是付款的意思

the next expression is to check out to check out means to pay

這就意味你購物結束了 有時候我們會說「去收銀臺結帳吧」

it means to finish your shopping so to check out we sometimes say let's check out at the register

現在很多超市有自助結帳的機器

or now actually in a lot of different supermarkets there's a machine called self checkout

自助結帳就是沒有員工幫你結帳

checkout self checkout means there's no staff person there's no one helping at the register

只需要你把商品放到自助結帳機上掃描

it's just you and a machine you scan your items pay and finish so that's a self checkout

「結帳」也可以是一個動詞

but the verb we use is to check out

例句：我買完了 去結帳吧

in a sentence I'm done let's check out

使用優惠券

最後一個詞是優惠券 最後一個字我讀「quan」

the next expression is to use a coupon for pronunciation I say coupon 

但是有人讀「juan」 兩種我都聽過

you might hear some people say coupon as well I've heard coupon and coupon

你讀「quan」還是「juan」？

say coupon, do you say coupon or coupon?

我更喜歡「quan」  你也是 那我們就繼續讀「quan」吧

coupon yeah I prefer coupon, you prefer coupon, we're gonna go with coupon

正文底端字幕,,0,0,0,,不過你還是會聽到有人讀「juan」\N{\fs30\c&H000000&\fn微軟雅黑\b1}but you might hear coupon

優惠券就是一張小小的紙條

to use a coupon means you have a usually a small piece of paper 

現在手機好像也能收集優惠券了 我不確定

 or maybe these days it's something like I don't know you can get coupons on your phone now

Dialogue: 

優惠券可以給你折扣或者讓你享受買一送一的優惠

coupon gets you a discount you get a discounted price or you get maybe a buy one get one free deal, sth like that

例句：你好 我想使用這張優惠券

so in a sentence I want to use this coupon please 

這是最後一個詞了 這就是10個你在超市可以使用的詞
