被譽為是「音樂界奧斯卡」的格萊美頒獎典禮於上周在洛杉磯剛剛落下帷幕。今年繼續評出最佳靈樂/當代基督教音樂表演、最佳靈樂歌曲、最佳當代基督教音樂歌曲、最佳傳統靈樂專輯、最佳當代基督教音樂專輯五個大獎。
其中在最佳當代基督教音樂專輯這一獎項中下了「雙黃蛋」：一個是10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)（可譯為《一萬個理由（或尊崇主）》 - Jonas Myrin & Matt Redman創作, 作詞人Matt Redman另一個則是Your Presence Is Heaven（可譯為《你同在就是天堂》） - Israel Houghton & Micah Massey創作, 作詞人 Israel 與 New Breed，前者是英國著名基督徒音樂人創作，後者是美國著名基督徒音樂人創作，兩者可謂平分秋色。
不過對於華人教會來說，Matt Redman的《10,000 Reasons》比較熟悉，而另外一首則知曉的比較少。其實Israel Houghton(以色列-霍頓）從事當代基督教音樂服事以來，其創作出多首福音歌曲被廣泛傳唱，如《The Power of One》（《大能的一位》）、《You are Good》（《主是良善》、《Great is Thy Faithfulness》（《神信實廣大》），這些歌曲國內的弟兄姐妹透過百度音樂盒就可以收聽到。
而《你同在就是天堂》則是霍頓的最新力作，一經推出就收到許多教會如美國超大型教會湖木教會等廣泛傳唱，更是贏得許多基督徒的喜歡。
