章淼焱的悽美悲劇《黑血》雖然簡單，但卻抓人眼球。它講述了一個在中國西北貧困地區的家庭把賣血作為賴以生存的唯一途徑的故事。這部在鹿特丹電影節首次公映的電影是章導的第二部電影，後期製作的基金支持來自巴爾斯基金會。
儘管這部電影應用簡潔的線性敘述方式——以黑白寬屏拍攝（除了由工廠的煙塵導致的兩層大氣色序），但是章導通過把奇特的侵蝕地貌和無人問津的塵封村莊放在與主角同等重要的敘事地位上的操作，將背景的敘述功能發揮到了極致。
Miaoyan Zhang’s beautifully shot bitter drama Black Blood is a simple, but grippingly absorbing, story of an impoverished Chinese family in remote northwestern China who resort to selling their blood as the only way to try and survive. The film, which premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival, is Zhang’s second film and received post-production support from the festival’s Hubert Bals Fund.3.

章淼焱
美國加州大學柏克利分校藝術碩士，並獲得獎學金。曾在出版社做過藝術編輯。2006年他的第一部電影《小林小麗》就獲得了日內瓦電影節blackmovie（觀眾大獎），布拉德福德電影節Tiburon（費裡裡尼導演獎），巴塞隆納和臺北等電影節。同年在釜山國際電影節首映。美國杜克大學收藏。
2011年電影《黑血》獲得了鹿特丹國際電影節 Hubert Bals Funds基金支助，獲最佳亞洲電影大獎，《黑血》在俄羅斯聖彼得堡國際電影節獲最佳影片大獎。
2012年入選帕爾馬斯電影節，全州電影節，坎城電影節ACID，託倫電影節，蒙特婁電影節，安塔利亞電影節，塞薩洛尼基電影節，FNC，喀拉拉邦電影節，金奈電影節，日內瓦電影節，邁阿密電影節和時代的新視野。同年11月在法國發行。美國杜克大學收藏。《黑血》在加州大學柏克利，印度德裡大學及俄羅斯聖彼得堡國立大學作為教學影片。
2014年電影《天堂角落》獲得了鹿特丹國際電影節Hubert Bals Funds基金支助及釜山國際電影節亞洲電影基金支助。在釜山首映，這部電影被邀請在溫哥華，鹿特丹，哥德堡，日內瓦，維爾紐斯和耶路撒冷電影節，同年獲得第九屆塔可夫斯基電影節大獎。
2015年《天堂角落》又獲亞太影展（APSA）聯合國教科文組織文化成就獎提名。年輕導演最佳故事片提名、最佳攝影提名等。
2015年8月《天堂角落》在法國上映並在聖丹斯頻道播出。
《沉霧》Silent Mist將於2016年拍攝他的下一部電影。
2018年7月章淼焱電影回顧展將在53屆捷克卡羅維法利國際電影節舉行

Born in Manchuriaand grown up during the Cultural Revolution, Zhang Miaoyan barely had a chanceto see movies. In the 90's he got an opportunity to study art and earned a Masters ofFine Art degree at UC Berkeley which enabled him to watch foreign moviesnonstop. He is also a oil painter and used to be an art editor for a publishinghouse.
His first feature Xiaolin Xiaoli (2007)was invited in Busan, BlackMovie, Geneva (Audience Award), Bradford, Tiburon(Federico Fellini Award), Barcelona & Taipei.
Black blood (2011) receivedpost-production support from Hubert Bals Fund and was premiered atInternational Film Festival Rotterdam (NETPAC Award). It’s then screened in LaPalmas, Jeonju, Cannes ACID, Torun, Saint Petersburg (Best Film), Montreal FNC,Antalya, Thessaloniki, Kerala, Chennai, Geneva, Miami and Era New Horizons.Released in France in November 2011.
A corner of heaven (2014)received Hubert Bals support as digital production and ACF post-productionsupport. Premiered in Busan, the film was invited in Vancouver, Rotterdam,Goteborg, Geneva, Vilnius, Mooov, Tarkovsky(Grand Prix) & Jerusalem. APSA UNESCO Awardnominated etc. Released in France in August 2015 and broadcasted byAMC/Sundance Channel.

關於嘉賓/About The Guest
王兵，中國獨立電影人，1995年畢業於魯迅美術學院攝影系，1996年進修於北京電影學院攝影系，現生活和工作於北京。
Wang Bing has been a leading documentary filmmaker of the burgeoning independent documentary scene in China for the past decade. Acclaimed by critics and recognized as one of the most important Chinese artists and filmmakers of his time, his work has garnered awards and international praise at major film festivals.
Born in Shaanxi, a province in central China in 1967, Wang first studied photography at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Art before studying cinematography at Beijing Film Academy. He began his career as an independent filmmaker in 1999. Released in 2003, his directorial debut WEST OF TRACKS is a monumental documentary work, exceeding 9 hours in length, that was a great success internationally. Filmed in the northern Chinese district of Tiexi, WEST OF TRACKS is a strikingly profound contemplation on the lives of workers in the decaying industrial district.
