納斯瑞丁因為搶劫入獄，被判十年有期徒刑。在坐牢期間，一次偶然的機遇，他抓住了一隻蟋蟀。為了消磨時間，他不斷地訓練這隻蟋蟀，日復一日。
Nasreddin was in jail for ten years because of robbery.During the prison,He caught a cricket by chance. To kill time,he trained the cricket day and night.
經過長期的努力，這隻蟋蟀不僅有美妙的歌喉，還學會了說話。納斯瑞丁內心激動無比，他仿佛看見在百老匯的門口，無數人瘋搶門票，就為了看一隻會說話的蟋蟀一眼。
Through long-term efforts,the cricket had learnt how to singing and speaking.Nasreddin was very excited,he seemed to see thousands of people in front of Broadway snatched tickets,in order to see the cricket.
十年很快過去了，終於到了出獄的日子，納斯瑞丁將蟋蟀小心地放入了口袋.出了監獄的大門，心情大好的納斯瑞丁打算先去喝一杯，順便在酒吧開始他的成名之路。
Ten years passed quickly,it was the very time to get out of jail,Nasreddin put the cricket carefully in his pocket.Out of the prison gate, Nasreddin, in a good mood, plans to have a drink first and start his way to fame at the bar.
點了一杯伏特加，坐在吧檯的納斯瑞丁看著周圍熙熙攘攘的人群，按奈不住心中的激動，小心翼翼地將蟋蟀拿了出來，放在了吧檯上。然後起身大聲喊道：「嘿！你們看這隻蟋蟀！」
He sat at the bar looking at the crowd with a cup of vodka.He couldn't control his excitement,and carefully take out the cricket.Then get up and speak loudly:'Hullo!Look at this cricket!'
「啪！」
'bang'!
話音剛落，酒吧服務員一巴掌將蟋蟀拍死在吧檯上.然後深感歉意地說：「對不起！先生，我馬上為您換一杯。」
The voice just fell,the waiter of the bar slapped the cricket to death on the bar.And then the waiter spoke apologetically:'I'm sorry!Sir,I'll change another cup for you right away.'
