零流失率心得

流失率其代表的含義刺眼又耀眼,一字之差但是其中的奧妙卻是不言而喻的。刺眼的流失率數據意味著我們的努力還不夠,耀眼嘛,這是一種光榮,一種鼓勵,一種動力。
2014年暑假二期事隔多年後誕生了我的另一個零流失率班級---劍二下冊。不記得哪一年的暑假我的處女作零流失率班級劍一下冊,當時是15人,只記得很開心,一直都在朝這個目標努力,一直以來的流失率都能保持在20%左右,但是始終因為某些客觀原因失之交臂。今年的零流失率班級並沒有讓我感到想像的那麼開心,因為我們班只有2個孩子,兩個比較好動而又想像力豐富的孩子。
因為當時我要開始著手準備帶隊去上海參加ACT總決賽,而且本著對孩子更深入了解的原則上完第一次課後我就打電話給了兩個孩子的家長。其中一個是叫Lee的小朋友,和他媽媽溝通時我很是擔心自己的溝通是否能讓家長接受而又真實的反應該孩子情況呢。溝通完了後,原來我的擔心是多餘的,家長很了解自己的孩子,同時也對我說了一段話讓我印象深刻:「很謝謝Star老師能這麼及時和我溝通,沒想到我孩子從上學到現在幾年的情況,Star老師上了一次課後就能了解得如此的透徹。能遇上Star老師是我們的緣分,我一定會好好配合老師工作的」。聽到這段話我就放心了,其實溝通是一門學問,同時溝通也是橋梁。
我只是想借用這裡致我親愛的老師們這句話:溝通多而且溝通好的班級,你一定會收穫多多,工作更美好。

在2014年春季班中所帶的班級劍橋少兒英語二級A獲得零流失率,人數一共是8人。在2014年暑假第二期班中所帶的班級劍橋少兒英語二級衝刺獲得零流失率,人數一共是8人。兩個班加起來是16人。
來到邦德這麼久第一次獲得兩個班的零流失率,心裏面特別興奮,以前都是看著其他老師獲得所帶班級的零流失率,那時候很為她們開心,現在我也做到了,所以很開心。不僅僅是因為零流失率可以拿到相應的獎勵,並且還證明了通過我自己的努力把學生繼續留在邦德裡學習。我相信通過自己的不斷努力可以提升自己並且讓自己做的更好。
在邦德的一年裡,通過不斷的學習,不斷的進取,到現在看到自己的進步,我自己也趕到欣慰。我相信自己以後會做的更好。雖然班級獲得零流失率是件不容易的事情,但是我相信每個老師都會有機會獲得零流失率的,讓我們一起加油吧。

This summer I taught at BondLanguage Institute for a whole six weeks straight. It turned out to be verytiring but also rewarding.
For the first time I was able toteach a variety of ages so I was teaching students from the age of 6-17 yearsold.
At the start of the summer campminds ran wild and it was a challenge to find a way to interest the students asin there minds summer holidays had begone and they didn't really have that muchenthusiasm in any class. However with some interesting games and my joyful selfI managed to win them over a few days in and with even them wanting to staybehind longer after class.
As the weeks passed minds startedto tire and wander and once again I found myself pulling my students togetherto form an amazing group of young individuals.
Teaching the same young childrencan be very exhausting 6 days a week where as compared to the older studentswho aren't really interested in songs and dance it's a nice break for me to sitand actually get to know them as people.
Each class had a different amountof students in. Some games I couldn't play just because the normal games Iteach have more than 50 students. However with enough experience behind me Itwas easy for me to adjust to the smaller classes and introduce games for allages.
To sum up my experience ofteaching at Bond this summer I have learnt many new games and found out thatI'm capable of teaching many different ways and methods so my students get theultimate best out of my class.
