interesting和interestedinteresting意思為」有趣的「，常用來說明事物本身具有令人感興趣的特徵。interesting即可作表語又可作定語，多說明或修飾事物。例如：The story book is interesting.那本故事書很有趣（作表語）。Tom is reading an interesting book.湯姆正在讀一本有趣的書（作定語）。
interested意思為」感興趣的「，常用來說明人的感受，作表語，其主語通常是人。interested的後面常接介詞in，構成短語be interested in表示」對.....感興趣「。例如：I'm very interested in English.我對英語非常感興趣。
綜上所看，interesting的主語通常是事物，而interested的主語通常是人。記住這一點，就能知道它們的區別了。最後再舉一個例子方便大家記憶interesting和interested。The boy is interested in this interesting toy.那個男孩對那個有趣的玩具感興趣。
延伸拓展：一般以-ing結尾的形容詞常用來說明事物的性質/特徵；以-ed結尾的形容詞常用來表示人的感覺/情緒。這樣的單詞像boring和bored，exciting和excited,relax和relaxing等。
