電話是我們日常生活中不可或缺的溝通工具，而在生活中無論是工作還是私生活必然要接觸一連串的電話號碼，但你知道電話號碼要怎麼樣用英文準確地表達才更地道嗎？

如電話號碼: [phone]

+1 - 讀作 one(country code 國碼)

515- 讀作 five one five (area code 區碼)

240-讀作 two four oh (在生活口語中，0零通常讀作oh或是zero)

2635-讀作 two six three five

讀電話號碼的方法：

1.讀電話號碼通常是以三位數或是四位數為單位連著念的

如:109 234 5678

2.可一個數字一個數字的單念,也可以兩個數字為一個單位

如:1212-讀作 one two one two 或者是 twelve twelve

3.兩個相同數字相鄰,可用"double+數字"代替

如：9876-5544

讀作 nine eight seven six, double five, double four

4.而三個相鄰的數字, 用"triple+數字"

如：999-8765

讀作：triple nine, eight seven six five

4.手機上的"#"字鍵成為 pound key, 而我們常說的"分機"則是extension。

如:如果要對方幫你接分機123，你可以說:

Extension 123, please.

Can you put me through to extension 123?

Could you give me extension 123?

Could you transfer my phone call to extension 123?
