Two teams of Middle School students competed in this year’s United States Academic Pentathlon – China (USAP). The USAP is an internationally famous academic competition, started in 2009. Our students』 journey began in November, when they started practicing for the competition.
兩隊中學生參加了今年的美國五項全能中國賽（USAP）。USAP是一項國際知名的學術比賽，始於2009年。我們學生的競賽旅程始於去年11月，當時他們開始為比賽進行練習。
The competition was originally meant to be held in Chengdu in February. Imagine the disappointment of the students when the competition had to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the end the students competed online, and despite the fact that this was our first time competing in the USAP, they did a fantastic job! All of their coaches are so proud of them!
比賽原定於2月在成都舉行。想像一下，當比賽由於新冠肺炎的疫情而不得不推遲時，學生有多麼地失望。最後，學生們在線上進行了比賽。儘管這是我們第一次參加USAP比賽，但他們表現得非常出色！所有的教練都為他們感到驕傲！

A huge congratulations to Music Kuang, who came in second place in China in the Fine Arts category, and first overall in Southern China. 熱烈祝賀匡正（Music Kuang），他在美術類全國排名第二，在華南賽區綜合排名第一。
Music’s other awards include the following placements among Southern China students: Second place in the Social Science category, first place in the Science category, first place in the Mathematics category, and second place in the Literature category.匡正在華南賽區獲得的其他獎項還包括：社會科學類第二名，科學類第一名，數學類第一名，以及文學類第二名。
