USYD Cloud is a community to help all USYD students extend their interests, knowledge, and passion about Cloud Computing. As Cloud Computing becomes more and more prevalent in the ever-growing tech industry, the society wishes to highlight the importance of it, and gives students who are interested in this field a practical foundation that cannot be found anywhere else.
Our society was established on Aug 5, 2019. Within just a few months we have partnered with AWS, Huawei, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud, Sourced, etc. We have successfully held the first AWS Immersion day in Semester 2, 2019. We'll have more interesting events coming in the future.

Work with society's event directors.
Coordinate events, workshops, etc.
Collaborate with sponsor team, marketing team for event marketing and finance team for reimbursement.
Requirements
Excellent team collaboration, written and oral skills.
Having some previous experiences on organising events is preferred.
Responsibilities
Solicit and maintain sponsorship deals with industry, negotiate with the supervisor of companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. in order to finalise a win-win collaboration.
Liaise between the faculty, school, society and any sponsor companies.
Keep a record of important contacts.
Coordinate with events team for sponsor related events.

In charge of our marketing campaign on society official website page, email, Slack, Facebook, LinkedIn, Wechat and other social media.
Work with the events team for events marketing to design documents and posts for social media in accordance with our brand guidelines.

Having experiences on using Facebook(Facebook page)/Wechat(official account)/LinkedIn is preferred.
