成年人用 play 表達"玩"，有戲弄、玩弄的味道。play with sb 的意思是：「玩弄某人」，帶有很強烈的「性暗示」。He is just playing with me.如果你是和貓貓狗狗玩，這個表達用著才比較妥當。

如果你想拒絕別人該怎麼說？別總是用No，畢竟盛情難卻，要有充分的理由才行。
① I am sorry to turn you down.譬如有人請你一起去唱K，但你很不喜歡這種吵吵鬧鬧的活動。就可以說：I am sorry to turn you down.②I really want to, but I got hundreds of things to do.別人邀請你參加他們的活動，就算你不想去也不要直接說：No, I don't want to. 這樣子別人下次可能就不會找你了，你可以找個藉口說自己很多事要做。你還可以根據具體情況，選擇以下表達拒絕別人：
１．I can't right now, but maybe later. ２．Unfortunately, I've had a few things come up. ３．I'm trying to focus on finishing off some other things. 4．I can't at that time, but I’m happy to help you with something else later. 這是一種非常禮貌的方式，你雖然拒絕了但是卻提供對其他事的幫助。5．Sorry but that isn't my strong suit.6．I'm sure you will do fine on your own.拒絕別人但鼓勵他自己完成此事的一種非常禮貌的表達方式。7．I'm afraid I'm committed to something else.8 .
