伴隨著下課鈴聲的響起，一天的學習終於結束啦。此時的孩子們都會幹些什麼呢？享用完豐盛晚餐後，孩子們陸續來到了階梯教室，等待他們的是晚自習？不，他們將參與一種全新的課後輔導——After-school club！不同於傳統的課後輔導小組，After-school club的輔導老師都是來自于楓葉高中的優秀志願者們，這些學長學姐們一對一的輔導自己的學弟、學妹學習，讓我們來看一下俱樂部的盛大場面吧！
小小的After-school club滿滿都是快樂的學習氛圍。「老師」與「學生」們彼此經過簡單的相互介紹後，很快進入了學習狀態。他們有的在解答學習中遇到的重難點，有的在耐心輔導完成作業，還有的在教授課本知識。這樣的學習方式讓整個After-school club充滿活力。
After-school club的創新教學機制體現在以下3點
1、「0代溝」模式讓課後輔導活動處於快樂、飽滿的狀態。
2、「小老師，大朋友」傳授的不僅僅是知識，更注重培養孩子們的交際能力。
3、 把握課後輔導的「興奮點」，推動後進生的學習內驅力。

來自504班的鄭心怡說道：「很感謝大哥哥大姐姐們的耐心輔導，他們不僅加強了我的英語自然拼讀能力，更教會我一些有用的方法與課外知識。」
來自501班的楊佳欣則談到：「高中的大哥哥會教我如何讀課文以及輔導完成作業，對於提高學習成績很有幫助。」
而來自高中的一名學生Lycan在談自己的教學體會中說：「這種形式的輔導讓我很有成就感，教小孩子對我來說是件很有意義的事情。」
另一名高中學生Coco也反饋道：「相對於這些孩子的老師，同樣作為學生的我們更懂得如何從孩子的角度去引導他們更高效的學習，對於輔導完成作業更有經驗，同時更容易表現出友好。」
Rainy同學說：「孩子們就像一張張白紙需要人指導他們畫出彩色的畫。在幫助他們的過程中，我變得更耐心，也變得不一樣了。」
Dannie同學說：「小孩子們非常可愛，他們總是坦露自己的內心。在傳遞愛和知識的同時，我也收穫了快樂。」
孔子在《論語》中說：「知之者，不如好之者，好之者，不如樂之者。」在孔子看來，樂學是學習的最高境界。樂學就是創設一種愉快的教學環境，在「師生」心境愉快，情感融洽的情況下學習知識，增長智慧。After-school club正是秉承了這一理念，通過環境的豐富性、多樣性和層次性，推動孩子自主的快樂學習，讓我們攜手在楓葉西式教育機制中大膽嘗試、積極反思，愉快感受和孩子互動的一種欣喜體驗吧！
After a whole-day class, what will ourchildren do? Some students from grade 5 & 6 will join in after-school club.It’s different from other class; all the teachers are actually high schoolstudents. Let’s have a look.
Our after-school club is full of happyatmosphere. After knowing each other, they quickly enter the state of learning.Some of them talk about how to figure out the hard points. Some of them try tohelp our kids to know how to do homework. Others teach our kids some knowledgethat can’t find on the book. All this kind of study makes the club lively.
