「水落石出」的英文難道和「水、石頭」有關嗎？Water and Stone？水譁譁譁的落下去後石頭就漏出來了~

其實大家都知道本成語的意思，實際就是「弄清楚真相」而已啦，和什麼山啦水啦沒有關係滴~~
那麼究竟該如何表達？用這個！！！看過來！
get to the bottom of [ɡet tu ðə ˈbɑːtəm əv]
bottom =臀部；末端
get to the bottom就是去到末端，追根問底，深處挖掘的意思啦，那麼搞清楚什麼的真相就是of something來表示從屬啦~
【例句】
- I'm determined to get to the bottom of this, come hell or high water.
-不管有多大困難，我決心把這件事弄個水落石出。
→come hell or high water = in spite of all obstacles就算天崩地裂 （指不畏險阻，排除萬難）
【例句】
- I've always managed to get into work come hell or high water.
-不管發生什麼情況，我都沒有不上班過。
- We must get to the bottom of the matter.
-我們必須弄清這件事的內情。
※ 敲黑板劃重點：水落石出= get to the bottom of sth

01 the bottom line
意思：重點；關鍵信息；底線；最終盈利（或虧損）；底價
bottom line原指財務報表中最底下的盈虧數據，所以可見是多麼的重要。
- The bottom line is that it's not profitable
-最重要的一點是它無利可圖。（bottom line:關鍵的是；重點）
- Two thousand─and that's my bottom line!
-兩千塊——不能再低了。（bottom line：底價）
→ 說起 「底線」，我們更多用的一個詞是limit
【例句】
- Don't ask me anything about my salary, that's my limit.
-不要問關於我薪資的任何問題，那是我的底線。
02 rock bottom
Rock是巖石。如果往地下鑽探，穿過表土層，到最底下才是堅硬的巖層，就是rock bottom。換句話說是最底層的。
rock bottom這個詞在金融領域經常可以看到。Rock bottom常用來說價格跌落到最低限度。
- The stock market hits the rock bottom
-股市已跌到最低限度。（言下之意是股票價格下跌到不能再低的程度，可能要反彈了。)
03 bottom dollar
大家早知道dollar是美元，如果你口袋裡只剩最底下的那一美元了，你手頭一定相當拮据。
- Thank God I finally found a job - I've been out of work for more than a year and I was almost down to my bottom dollar.
-謝天謝地我找到工作了！我已經一年沒有工作了，身無分文。
down to one's bottom dollar意思是「幾乎到了手無分文的地步，也就是境況窘迫。"
