英語閱讀(英語「越讀」)：曬出你的雲上全家福！Spring Festival around the corner

什麼叫「英語閱讀」？先「整」明白這個概念：英語閱讀就是英語「越讀」，(已知的學過的)英語「越用得多」。

你達到這樣的「越讀越用」的「英語閱讀」境界沒有？離開這個「根兒」，都是英語「偽」閱讀。

一、怎麼「讀」？「越讀」中文「越用」得多嗎？

二、英語閱讀：當然英語「越讀」，「用」(已知的學過的)英語「越多」

1) Spring Festival is around the corner

Okay.I got you.If something is around the corner,it is very close to us,it is approaching.

So,Spring Festival is around the corner means Spring Festival is near,is close,is approaching,is a few days away.

你是否是這樣「英語越讀」，英語「用」越多？

2) who choose to stay put for the holiday

Okay.I got you.If you stay put,you'll stay where you're,you do not leave a place for another place.

So,if you choose to stay put for the holiday,you stay at your city and do not go home for the holiday in another city.

這樣「讀懂」英語stay put雖然比直接「說」中文「就地過節」「省詞彙」，但是，它達到了我們的「英語越讀」，英語用越多的真正目的了呀！

    3) will miss out on seeing their family

Okay.I got you.If you miss out doing something,you lose an opportunity,or a chance to do it.

So,if you miss out seeing your family,you lose a chance to see them.

    4) as usual

If you do something as usual,you do it as you always do it.

我不清楚，既然是「英語閱讀」，為什麼非得要「讀成」中文「才能懂」呢？？？？？

難怪我們走了幾十年的英語教育之路，最後竟被人「罵」得只有「開除正規教育」之列的「下場」！

「不會用」(已知的學過的)英語divided的split的「英語閱讀」，還能叫「英語閱讀」嗎？
