·關於春節英語，那些你不知道的翻譯——
說到春節，有一個繞不開的話題就是春運。春運不僅是我們國家獨有的一種大規模交通運輸現象，更是銘刻著幾代人的時代前進和回家夢，所以「春運」這個詞，是搭載著中國人特有的「落葉歸根」、回家團年的一個暖心而又特殊的詞語，不存在於國外，因此想要翻譯，當然不能用「Spring Travel」這種簡單的直譯。
春運通常使用的翻譯有「the Spring Festival travel season」或者「Spring Festival travel rush」兩種，其中season特指運輸高峰期，而rush則也有高峰的意思，在某種程度上來說十分貼切。不過，近年來隨著Chinglish在國際上影響力的增加和地位的提升，現在也有越多越多的外媒直接使用「Chunyun」這個「單詞」報導這種現象，可謂是另一種方式的「文化輸出」。
除了春運，很多烤鴨還喜歡直接把鼠年翻譯成「Mouse year」，拜託！你們好歹也是學過英語的人，至少也應該用「the Year of the Mouse」吧。在英美等國家，並沒有生肖這個概念，但是他們有星座這種說法，所以在表達自己「屬鼠」的時候，也可以使用「My Chinese zodiac/animal sign is Mouse」，「This year is my year of fate」（今年是我的本命年）。
對於中國和歐洲等國家來說，畢竟習俗差異巨大，所有很多關於春節的翻譯都只可意會，不可言傳，比如壓歲錢通常的翻譯是「lucky money」，就讓人感覺，嗯？好像是那麼個意思，但又好像不是那麼個意思，這個時候，才會感慨漢語的博大精深。
