　　伊朗核問題將何去何從呢？近日，英國外交部發表聲明，中、美、俄等6國正在倫敦舉行伊朗核問題六國會談，會談同意就解決伊朗核問題擬一份新的聯合國安理會決議草案。

　　Dig in one’s heels：決不妥協

　　Iran dug in its heels over its programme as theworldpowers met in London to discuss tightening UN sanctionsagainst thecountry. The five permanent UNSC mrs the US, France,Russia, Chinaand Britain plus Germany met against a background ofrisinginternational tensions.

　　國際關係日趨緊張之際，世界強國在倫敦舉行磋商，討論加強聯合國對伊朗的制裁。但伊朗仍然沒有妥協的意思。

　　Dig in one`s heels：dig，有挖的意思，如果單拿出來dig in，它在英語口語裡就是指吃飯，比如Let’sdigin。不過在這兒，dig in又另上了一個小尾巴heels，腳後跟。Dig inone’sheels把某人的腳後跟挖進去就是指絕不妥協。你想呀，如果別人要拉你走，為了使自己還呆在原來的位置，你也許就會立起腳尖，把腳後跟陷入泥土裡。當然，有的時候你也會見到diginheels，兩者都是一樣的。如果你對某事不妥協，看看新聞例句，別忘加上over呀。
