[b]放在句首(通常會接在一個句子後面，前面可以是句號或分號)

2.so 所以…
so是連接詞，可用來連接兩個句子。
例1：Tom checked carefully, so that the mistakes were caught. 湯姆仔細檢查，以便發現錯誤。
例2：I went to bed early yesterday, so I got up early this morning. 我昨晚早睡，所以我今天早上很早起。
3.thus 因此
thus跟therefore同樣是副詞，所以放在句中的時候，一樣需要加其它連接詞。
例：It is late, and thus you must go. 時間晚了，因此你該走了。
4.hence 因此
一樣是副詞，若放在句中，需加上其它連接詞。或是放在句首。
例1：The typhoon is coming; hence the store will be closed tomorrow. 颱風快來了，因此明天店不會開。
例2：Jenny is slimmer and hence more attractive. 珍妮更苗條了，因此更吸引人了。
