Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on Why students should be encouraged to develop the ability to meet challenges？ You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.
Nowadays, people are undergoing considerable challenges because of the ever-changing world. Some people see challenges as puzzles to solve. Some see challenges as opportunities to grow. From my point of view, we should encourage students to develop the ability to meet challenges.
First of all, challenges can help you discover more about yourself. Overcoming challenges creates opportunities to discover things about ourselves like strengths, preferences, and even passions. When we try new things, we discover hidden aspects of who we are that have yet to be developed. In addition, challenges can lead to a higher success rate. Challenges do not need to be significant life-changing goals; they can be relatively small tasks. Bit by bit, challenges set a goal and encourage you to make a plan to achieve your goal with greater motivation.
There's a quote from Frank Clark, "If you find a path with no challenges, it probably doesn't lead anywhere." Therefore, the earlier we realize the importance of meeting challenges, the more chance we will succeed.
