後來看到有老外用from my point of view，覺得很新穎，但嫌太長了，要用4個單詞。
再後來，看到郵件有老外用from my perspective，也有如下例句：
Please provide a brief reply regarding which option is most preferred from a manufacturing perspective.
發現不認識perspective這個詞，查詞典是「觀點」「遠景」，瞬間感覺很高大上。但是又不敢用，怕這個詞太裝逼了。
後來很多次在郵件裡看到perspective這個詞，才發現這是個非常普通且常見的詞，而且真是太好用了。
別看perspective這麼長，而且以tive富有逼格，其實本質上和view的意思差不多，就是一個人的「視角」，即身處某個位置和角度所看的東西(what you see when you stand at a certain point）。
我們玩某些遊戲的時候，就有兩種模式可以選擇，即第一人視角（first person perspective）和第三人稱視角（third person perspective），如下所示：
第一人視角（first person perspective）畫面呈現遊戲角色眼睛裡看到的畫面，是看不到自己的。
第三人視角（third person perspective）畫面裡是能看到玩家自己的，仿佛有第三者在遊戲角色的後面觀摩而呈現的畫面。
搞建築設計的同學應該很熟悉「透視圖」，可以在平面上表現出真實視覺空間的變化規律，即「近大遠小」，這是按照人眼觀察真實事物的的感覺來表現的，透視圖就叫perspective drawing。
從這裡大家應該明白了，perspective就是眼睛裡呈現的事物，這些事物呈現的畫面隨著你的位置、角色而變化。
perspective比起起opinion來應用更廣泛，說白了就是How somebody sees it，也就是一件事在某人眼裡是什麼樣的，因為每個人的角色、身份、職責不同，所謂盲人摸象，情人眼裡出西施，所看到的東西不一樣，所以perspective也不一樣。
所以from XXX's perspective就是從我的角度看，在我眼裡是什麼樣的，甚至不需要是opinion，只需要是一個comment或者statement即可。
例：
- I just found out this small error from an accountant's perspective.
- 我只是以會計師的敏感發現了這個小錯誤。
還有以下幾點用法：
1）當你想說看問題的「角度」時，都可以用perspective這個詞，這是opinion做不到的。
例：
- From a hiring perspective, the entire process is too long。
- 站在招聘的角度來說，整個過程太長了。
- Do they serve the same purpose from a design perspective?
- 站在設計的角度來說，這兩者方法都是一樣的？
- This tool will help you view a situation from different perspectives.
- 這個工具能夠幫助你從不同角度分析事物。
- The British and Europeans view the whole thing from completely different perspectives.
- 英國人和歐洲人完全從不同的角度看待這件事。
2）當你想要問別人，以他的立場或者身份對某個問題怎麼看時，可以說 From a xxxx's perspective, what you think …?
例：
- From an employee's perspective, what kind of boss do you think is the best?
- 以員工的眼光看，你覺得什麼樣的老闆最好？
- From a man’s perspective, what are the biggest myths about women?
- 以男人的眼光看，你覺得女人最神秘的地方是什麼？
- From a woman's perspective, what kind of men do you think look attractive?
- 以女人的眼光來看，什麼樣的男人看上去最有魅力？
3）當我們想表達「對…來說」「在…看來」時，也可以用from XXX's perspective，特別是強調他們的職位或者職業時。
- From an IT manager's perspective, the new system is not difficult to set up.
- 對IT經理來說，新系統的搭建並不困難。
- From a doctor's perspective, the situation is not too bad.
- 在醫生看來，情況還不算太糟糕。
- This is something we will continue to work on this year to make sure it makes sense from everyone’s perspective.
- 這部分是我們今年繼續努力的一個方向，以讓每個人覺得是合理的。
我們經常說的「格局」，但是翻譯成英文很難，其實就可以說do something from a broder perspective。
「新思維」「新想法」也可以說成fresh perspective。
