現在是大家非常關鍵的申請時期。阿may特地總結了之前在2015年6月份最後一秒申請學校，把如何跟學校argue從無到有的郵件分享給大家，希望對你的申請有一點點幫助。
這些郵件的溝通技巧也適用於學校和工作中的其他場合，就算你不是未來Cheveners，如果你在申請國外學校的時候遇到此類問題，或者是在任何其他場合中收到了拒信或者不符合你期望值的結果，嘗試一下YOLO軟性溝通方式，也許你得到的回覆會不一樣噢。補充很重要的一點，如果你有英語國家的朋友，最好請他們幫忙閱讀下，看看有沒有可以提高表達方式，讀起來更地道的地方。這是加分點噢。

第一篇－巧妙溝通說服篇

第二步：（最後一秒遞交申請，還在6月份學校最忙的時候去催錄取通知書，當然是石沉大海啦！）趕緊自己寫郵件催學校官方負責人：
記住：提到Foreign and Commonwealth Office! 從側面告訴他們：你他們國家選的人才！啦啦啦！

Agent -JJL Overseas Education Consulting has helped me with my previous applications.
I am writing to share with you the exciting news that I am conditionally selected as a Chevening Scholar ( KCL is my first choice among the three required) with sufficient funding. I would like to inquire regarding the approximate date of my application result. This will allow me to reply to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office who sponsored the scholarship.

記住：
1.簡明扼要！老師們都很忙！
2.你多麼愛這個學校！
3.一定要提到Foreign Commonwealth Office志奮領是多麼重要！
4.時間點deadline的重要性！快快快！快點給決定啦。

第六步：趕緊回復表示感謝學校給錄取通知書了！但是收到的是conditional offer! 因為雅思寫作差了0.5分，學校要求重新考試提供新的成績！這時候哪裡來的及！（來得及我也不想去考！:)）所以阿may趕緊再在郵件末尾補一句：我會重新寫一封郵件，跟您argue雅思成績沒有達標的問題！

第七步： 最重要的這封郵件來了！！！！鐺鐺鐺！
記住：
1.淡定。
2.為什麼你是最棒的！學校不能錯過你這樣的好學生！
3.舉例子證明為什麼你是最棒的！（阿may的案例就是證明為什麼你的雅思寫作6.5分，沒有達到學校的錄取標準7分，學校還要在一天時間內給你uncondtional offer！)
4. 你是最棒的！(歐美文化讚賞「自信」，國內的「過度謙虛」在這裡行不通的！）
5.時間點deadline的重要性！快快快！快點給決定啦。
Dear Dr xxx,
This is May Chen(ID 15709xx). Thank you for your conditional offer for the Cultural & Creative Industries MA; I look forward to being part of King’s College London. However, I have an urgent problem and am in need of your kind help.
I need to provide an unconditional offer for my final Leadership Chevening Scholarship Award to the Foreign Commonwealth Office who funds it before 15th July (please see attachment). KCL is by far my first choice university, and I believe it is the perfect place for me to learn while adding value to the institution.
My problem is that I have been asked to provide another IELTS score in order to obtain an unconditional offer from KCL, but the timing will make it impossible for me to accept that offer.
Would it be possible to consider my application as a special case and grant me the unconditional offer based on my overall score, which is above the acceptable threshold? The conditions for the unconditional offer specify I must have an overall score of 7 as well as a 7 in the written section. At present, my overall score is 8 (please see attachment), with 9 for listening, 8.5 for reading, 7 for speaking and 6.5 for writing.
To be honest, I'm a bit surprised my writing score didn't come out higher, as I have cultivated my love of writing for many years, especially in college. Please kindly find attached one of my articles published in one of China's mainstream English-language newspapers, 21st Century. Writing is still part of my routine, as I communicate regularly with over 5,000 social media followers via a newsletter for Queen’s Art Spot, my creative brand, and MAYCHENYOLO, my blog that focuses on women's independence and lifestyles. I will continue to improve my written English by reading and writing extensively before and during my time at KCL: I very much look forward to sharing my experiences at KCL and this exciting chapter as a Chevening Scholar with others.
