元宵節，用英語怎麼說呢？大家都是文化人兒，千萬不要說yuan xiao jie~，而是Lantern Festival，因為元宵節也叫燈節。
The first month of the lunar calendar is known as the 元月(yuan yue). And in ancient China, the night was referred to as 宵 (xiao). So when the first full moon rolls around, this night is accordingly known as 元宵。
農曆的一個月被稱作「元月」。然後在古代中國，夜晚被稱作「宵」。所以當第一個月圓之夜到來的時候，這個晚上就被稱作了「元宵」。
吃元宵/湯圓
Eating Rice Glue Balls
People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on the Lantern Festival, so it is aslo called the 「Yuanxiao Festival」. It is small dumpling balls made of glutionous rice with rose petals, sesame, bean paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling. Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and has the meaning of reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.
民間過元宵節都會吃元宵。元宵由糯米製成，或實心，或帶餡，餡有豆沙、白糖、山楂、各類果料等。食用時煮、炸、蒸皆可。起初，人們把這種食物叫作「浮圓子」，後來又叫湯糰或湯圓，這些名稱與「團圓」字音相近，取團圓之意，象徵全家人團團圓圓和睦幸福。

既然是十五，自然少不了賞月。滿月用英語是full moon，此外還有: new moon 新月，half moon 半月。
After dinner we can go outside to a park to get a good view as the moon rise。飯後月亮升起來的時候，到外面的公園找一個賞月的好位置。
